I had previously purchased an older set of precision knives. That set did not have the nonstick coating. Comparing the two, the older set had sturdier steak knives with less aggressive serration. Hopefully the nonstick coating doesn’t wear off with use. The self sharing block looks beautiful, but the slots should be marketed to match which knives go where. ... show more

I love these knives! They are very sharp so be careful. They cut with ease. They have a nice weight to them and are easy to hold. I would recommend buying these knives. They are a good value for the money.

    • Beautiful set of knives- not really non-stick
Good set of knives, beautiful block. There is a good selection of the most popular, useable types of knives. They are sharp, but I will be interested in seeing how they hold up long term. The ‘non-stick’ coating isn’t really non-stick; my onions and cucumbers still stick to the sides of the knife as I’m cutting. I do also worry that as the knives get ‘sharpened’ every time they are put in the block, when will this constant sharpening start to scrape off the non-stick coating? Only time will tell if this was a good investment. ... show more
