I purchased this set for my residential care home, I usually have anywhere from 3-6 patients at a time, so this was perfect rather than 3-6 different wireless doorbells all plugged up randomly around the house. It came with 6 call buttons and 2 receivers. The 2 receivers is the best part! I put one in garage and one in a central location of the home so that at any time a bell rings it’s heard all over. Each receiver has 1-6 and when the bell rings that bells number lights up. Here’s my issues, setting each call button to a different tune to make that bell distinctive for a certain patient…DIFFICULT! Also, the call buttons aren’t numbered, not a huge deal, I labeled them myself and that’s how we keep track of what button lights up the designated number! Call button #6 won’t stay programmed to the tune it’s supposed too, in face after setting it several Times it won’t even ring now.. which isn’t a huge deal because I have a single call button and single receiver so we just use that one for #6. I do like that the buttons are all on a lanyard and I don’t have to purchase the lanyards. This would be a much better set up if the instructions were written better and the programming was easier than it is. I needed these badly when purchased so returning was just inconvenient and not feasible at the time. I do intend on shopping around and finding a better set up in the near future, I’ll prob just toss this set up! Overall for the price I paid it’s not a horrible purchase, just probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Living alone and getting old, my wife and I decided a while ago that it would be good to have some kind of call for help available should a need for assistance arise, which it does, both medically and simply to have an extra hand or a "come here for a sec" moment. These fill the bill nicely. We differentiate between emergency versus non-emergency by either repeated pressing of the call button versus single presses, respectively. We placed them in key locations throughout the house/property... but quickly realized we wanted more call buttons. So we bought another set of buttons/receivers - could not find them sold separately. We live on a roughly 125'x325' property and these work from any point inside and outside the 2 floor and cellared house. If I'm working outside I just hang one around my neck (under the shirt to keep it out of the way). Part of the rating for this asks about battery life... No idea how long the button's batteries will last until they stop working for the first time - have not owned them long enough to evaluate that as of this critique. While the buttons could probably be smaller, they are not overly large or bulky (2.75"x2"x1") - the red button is the size of a U.S. quarter. Would be nice to have a ring or wristband version. Technically, this product is a prime example of plug and play.

My mother-in-law needed to move in with us because she fell and broke her hip. We tried a couple different call buttons, and they did not work so they were returned. This one is awesome and works great. We have them on her walker, next to her bed, in her bathroom, etc. so when she needs something she hits the button, and it rings throughout the house. We even put one outside, so we don't miss a call. The units plug into an outlet, so you don't have to deal with batteries. I highly recommend this call set.

I love this product for the peace of mind that my husband can alert me when he needs help, and he can get my attention at the push of a button. I was a lot frustrated by the limited and incomprehensible (to me) tiny print instructions included in the package. The attached image was much better, and I found it at AdvancedCaregiver.com. My only wish was that the call buttons were smartphones compatible… maybe in the future.

I was skeptical about the product, but I was totally please when they arrived. It is easy to install, it is volume controlled so the different units can be set at different volumes. The tone can be set for different rooms so you can tell without looking at the base unit where the alarm is coming from. The last this is that you have a unit that flashes on the number of the alarm as well as a sound, that tells you exactly which alarm is being set off. This is a wonderful item for caregivers. Thank you for this product!
