    • Brakes and calipers
The calipers need to be coated so the don't rust. One seemed to be coated the other one was not and now a month later is rusty! Overall a great deal, but take the extra time to coat them with caliper paint prior to installing them. The pads are great and work well no Squeaking.

I purchased the full front and rear set. Within 30 days of the purchase I noticed that the passenger front caliper had a ton of surface rust. I contacted Callahan, their response was prompt and agreed to send me a replacement caliper. The replacement caliper rusted the same. As a comparison I’ve included a picture of the rusted passenger side and pristine driver side, the rear are pristine as well. Callahan’s response to me was they do not coat their calipers with any protective coating, that my warranty had expired and that they had already replaced the caliper once. All true… however 3/4 calipers installed are pristine a year later minus the front passenger, which leads me to believe that the do coat their calipers with a protective coating. Really disappointed. 75% is not good enough for me or my money, stand behind your product, manufacture products that are consistent with your customers expectations.
