Your friends and family will love spending time with you in your yard with classically styled dining sets, outdoor chairs, and more from Highwood’s Lehigh collection. Use strong hooks (not included) to hang the chain and support the weight of the loaded swing. Each swing purchase includes two 7-foot chains and two 2-foot chains. Additional chain can be purchased upon request. Total height from end of chain attached at ceiling to top of seat is 80”. This swing is assembled with 304-grade stainless steel hardware and comes with the assurance of a manufacturer’s 12-year residential limited warranty. It has been load-tested per ASTM 1561-03 (2008) standards for outdoor plastic furniture and has a 400-pound weight capacity. Some assembly is required (see assembly guide). Assembled 5ft swing is 61"W x 22"H x 24"D (44lbs).

This is a simple, comfortable swing with a classic look and style. Pros: - Assembly: This took less than an hour to assemble and hang. If you already have the hanging supports then this will be easy to complete for all skill levels. - Appearance. Ours is a bright white that looks like wood from over 5 feet away. It cleans easily, although ours is under a roof and doesn’t take direct weather/rain. - Strong enough to hold two adults and 4 small kids while swinging, without any feeling of sagging/struggle. - It’s reasonably comfortable for a hard-surface bench. The armrests aren’t great because of the design with the chains, but we can sit here for a long time and feel relaxed. Cons: - It’s expensive for a well-built plastic bench. Had I received this as a gift, I’d guess it was only $250. - The difficult part of a swing install is the ceiling brackets. Highwood doesn’t provide or recommend swing brackets. They don’t want the liability. We had to buy them separately and pay our contractor to install extra ceiling joists. The swing is easy- your headaches will begin and end with the ceiling mounting hardware and installation. Focus there before you buy! This is a reasonable value if you have a good place to mount it! ... show more

I am a 66 year old female and assembled and hung this myself with no problems. Just do not tighten hardware down until all are in place. This should last a good long time as it is sturdy and will be weather-proof. I ordered the white 5' and hung in my tree in my backyard to replace a worn 16 year old 4' all-weather wicker one that had become brittle and began breaking. All parts went together easily, directions were clear, and all parts needed were included. High quality product!! ... show more

You can see in the pictures that the swing looked great at installation, but roughly 9 months later, you can see that the chain or other components were not stainless steel and you can also see the rust that has built up on the swing. I could not be more disappointed with the overall results of what I thought was going to be a long term swing. So now I am looking for stainless steel components and a lot of elbow grease to clean this up. If you live near the beach I would not recommend this swing. If you are inland away from the coast you are probably satisfied with the swing. ... show more

Excellent swing, no issues with assembly. I initially refused delivery because the box was severely damage/ destroyed. The delivery driver recorded the damage on his log and waited until I did inventory of the contents before I accepted it.
