The bed base is functional and firm. I liked that it brings clear instructions and you don't need many tools to assemble it. It is light, but at the same time it supports the weight very well. A good option if you want something resistant without spending too much.

I’ve had this box spring since November. It is easy to assemble by yourself although I had help just for the sake of it. It is sturdy and stable and it was noise free at first but it eventually started creaking and squeaking a month in which I can’t understand because it has not rusted and it’s on a flat even surface and the slates are very secured. I purchased in hopes of minimizing noise during play with my partner but now I have to work on finding a fix for the noise. I’ll come back if I find a fix. Overall it’s a good value for the money but description needs to change about being noise free.

Good solution when we needed to replace our box springs.
Simple to put together. Everything you need to put it together. Comes with a cover but looks quite stylish without. Fit the twin mattresses we already have perfectly. I zip tied two together so we each have our own mattress and bed lines but they are side by side like a queen. We each get the mattress firmness/softness and cover warmth we prefer but without the cost of some other bed options. We are both around 5’7’ so the shorter length of a twin isn’t a problem.
