I put this bed frame together by myself it was pretty straight forward and easy however now 1 month later the squeaking is so unbearable my wife is hating ne because I bought this frame. Whenever we are in bed and even if it's to get out of bed to go to the bathroom or getting in bed or turning to find the right sleeping position it squeaks at first it was slightly but now it has spread and its too late to return now which sucks but I might have to end up throwing it out because just not worth the hassle to have someone suffer the noise. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I was happy to find a frame that is all metal and not made of cheap wood/particle board. I can’t tell you how many repairs I had to make to my last cheap wood bed frame and did not want to deal with that again. This frame is very very solid, easy to assemble, and has a clean, simple look. Everything needed was in the box… no missing parts, screws, etc. The cons: There were some relatively minor scratches in some of the pieces. Not thrilled about that, but it’s also not a huge deal to me. I somewhat expected it, but better packaging may have been able to prevent some of it. Also, there is no “lip” around the edge to keep the mattress from sliding around on the frame or from sliding off the frame. My mattress is heavy enough that it’s not a big deal, but if you have a lighter/smaller mattress it may slide around on the frame more than you’d like.
