while using bluetooth is not so bad but once u connect to apple car play the sound keeps lagging, the screen freezes, and sometimes turns off

A couple of items: 1) the manual provided with the unit did not have a wiring diagram that matched the unit i received. I was able to match colors of wires and make it work. 2) for my application, the unit did not stick out enough before transitioning from DIN size to fully TV size. I had to trim some of my dash to make it fit. And even then, it doesn't feel secure in the DIN sleeve. 3) i can't get the microphone to work for bluetooth or carplay telephone calls. I can hear audio from the the person I'm calling, but they can't hear me. The seller told me to try and download a different bluetooth phone app, presumably for the headunit, but they did not give me any direction on how I go about downloading said app. Also, this has been said by other reviewers, the carplay isn't wireless, it requires the phone to be plugged in.

So I brought this stereo for not even 2 months from using it the screen just stopped working half way thru the day and it still doesn’t turn back on and they say I can’t get my refund back or a new one get sent to me like this is very professional

Had an issue with the motherboard and although it was out of the Amazon return policy window the seller replaced it with a new unit. Extremely thankful!!

**READ THE ACTUAL REVIEWS -- THERE ARE SOME 4 AND 5 STAR REVIEWS FOR UNITS THAT DIDN'T WORK CORRECTLY OR BURNED UP THE CONNECTORS BUT BUYERS GOT REFUNDS AND SUBSEQUENTLY GAVE 4 OR 5 STAR RATINGS ANYWAY** This drives the ratings for the unit artificially high. Also suggest you look at buyer's comments on the seller (again COMMENTS, not RATINGS) as Amazon has gone back and voided many of the negative seller comments and ratings. On the unit -- where to start? The good -- sound quality is decent and adjustable to match the car and your ear and radio (when used by itself) is good. Think that's about it. Now the bad --- installation instructions are a tiny 15 page booklet about the size of a index card that covers at least six different radios. No real installation guidelines just an ID of the wires and the rest is "figure it out yourself". Virtually no instructions on how to operate it or load anything into it other than a two or three word explanation of each manual or screen "button". Print in the manual is so small you can barely read it. No instructions on how to pair phone or do things like load your phone book or look at text messages. Can't get the mirror function to work at all. When using bluetooth on more than one program (like using maps and playing music at the same time) the unit cuts out and can stay off for up to a couple of minutes before coming back on --- usually erratically with bursts of sound interrupted by stretches of silence. The screen touch is very sensitive so you'll find that you call a phone number when you're trying to scroll down the list (on those rare occasions when the scrolling function actually works, etc.). In the end -- spend the extra $$ and get a name brand unit that has viable users manuals and support. I found the customer support responsive and did receive a full refund direct from supplier.
