Our king size bed has (2) Twin XL box springs, after many years one failed on because 10 little monkeys were jumping on the bed... Anyway it was simple to put together especially with using a cordless screwdriver instead of using the allen wrench. Not the biggest fan of 10 top support rails just laying in there, if i wasn't lazy i would probably have clamped the channels tighter for a snug fit or put in some adhesive to hold them in. To be honestly it's only a problem if you were moving your bed because they can fall out, once it's installed laying they're not going anywhere. Bonus why I bought a second one. At first I only bought 1 because only 1 box spring was broken but I noticed something, the bed stopped making a crunching sound, we always assumed it was the memory foam mattress and not the cheap stick and staples box spring but once we saw that side of the bed no longer made a noise when laying down on it, I turned around and bought a second one, the bed is quiet and I feel I have more support for my firm memory foam mattress.

This bed base was very easy to assemble and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I replaced my previous base because I have older, small dogs and the bed was too high for them to comfortably jump onto. This frame lowered the bed to a much better height for them while still making it easy for me to get in and out of bed. I haven’t noticed any difference in comfort compared to my previous base. It provides solid support, handles the weight without any issues, and has performed very well overall. The only modification I had to make was addressing a slight sliding issue on the bed wooden rails. To fix this, I purchased a few rubber pads from a local store (literally spent like $3.00) and glued them between the rails and the foundation. Since then, everything has stayed securely in place and worked perfectly.

If only we could give ZERO STARS. The box spring slipped off our frame immediately after my husband sat on the edge of the bed and then it promptly bent and became bowed. We are now without a box spring after spending two to three hours setting it up. This item is so poor and is unsafe to use on top of a metal bed frame. There’s no way we would’ve been able to safely sleep on this, so I guess it’s a blessing in disguise it has slipped off and broken so quickly….we waited to assemble this and are now past the return window but tbh we likely wouldn’t have been able to return it due to it being assembled and throwing away the cardboard. Wish we could get our money back.

This took me about an hour to assemble by my self. I cleaned all the parts and made sure all the pieces would fit and screw in properly before starting so assembly its self took more like 45 minutes to complete. I got the twin size and it fit my twin bed frame perfectly. None of the parts squeak or creak. It's solid and Generally well made. The cloth cover fit over it all just fine. there was one issue, though. Since the metal frame was sitting in metal, it could slide back and forth on the metal frame with a a bit of a nudge which is not idea. EASY FIX: I knew this would happen so had some rubbery self liner near by.. I cut some long pieces and places them under the frame in some key areas and bang! it does not slide at all even with a strong shove or pull. Problem solved. It's a little bit taller than a typical wooden box frame so my bed sits a few inches taller but its not that big of a deal. My mattress needs replacing for sure but with this new very solid box frame, it is way more comfortable and supportive that it was on my old wooden, creaky box frame. and IF the new box frame does get squeaky I can use WD40 to fix it right up. And it's waaaay easier if I had to move. Just take it apart and shabam! it's a go with some ties and a bag for the parts. This kind of metal frame is definitely an improvement over a wooden box frame any day. 4 and not 5 stares because it was a beast to carry from the post office. yes, I carried this bad boy quite a ways and it was super gnarly to do so since the center of gravity of box was wonky and it was pretty heavy. Definitional a two person box to carry for sure.

It’s structured very sturdy and easy to build. They give you extra hardware which is a plus. So far so good. It’s getting the job done. Recommend to try out. And the fact it can be used as a basic bed frame is a plus also.

Cover doesn't fit

Seems sturdy enough and easy enough to put together however the fabric cover piece is too small for the frame. It will not stay on over the corners and therefore doesn't go down far enough to cover the box spring frame or in case the bottom so it's not rubbing against the bed frame. So basically you have metal on metal which is not going to fare well.
