On a mission to find a good replacement for Herbal Essenses Totally Twisted mousse since they changed the formula? This is it. This one smells really good and provides the same level of hold & is moisturizing as well. It does feel weird mid-blow dry. I thought it was going to end up being really stiff but by the time the hair is fully dry, surprise!, it's nice & soft. It also doesn't flake off all over the place or leave a gross reisdue. Obviously it's slightly more expensive, but it's also a bigger bottle. Overall, this is the best I've found to replace that old TT formula, plus it smells like lemon cake (in a good way).

My teen daughter has just gotten a cut to accentuate her curls, and I was looking for curl-enhancing hair products. I am not going to spend what most of these brands were asking. I found Cake and got several products from them and was pleasantly surprised. They are a great price, have a sweet smell, and work very well. I gave some to my other daughter (also with curly hair) who was looking for a more economical brand for her hair products since moving out. This is my first time writing a review, I had to because I was so impressed with how this product made my hair looked. I had been using a moisturizing mousse called Condition which was discontinued. So I started my search for a new mousse for my fine/thin natural curly hair, which I do get highlighted, I read the reviews for this mousse and they sounded promising. I tried it and loved it the first time. I hate when you get crunchy curls, that when you go to pick them out it frizzes and pulls out my hair, this product does not do that at all!! Soft curls can style and pick, also it is winter with low humidity and my curls still looked full and great...If you have fine curly hair you actually like humidity it give you volume, and with this mouse I still got that soft full looking curly look I'd been searching for(even this time of year).. Totally recommend

I bought this excited to get my wavy hair better. However I am sensitive to smells and this has an extremely strong smell. The smell is good it’s just VERY strong. I could still strongly smell this in my hair a few days later and it gave me bad headaches. I didn’t use it again after that so I can’t speak very much to how it works with wavy hair. That being said I have it to my mom who has very curly hair can’t smell. She LOVED what it did for her hair.

If you're on the fence about this, get it! I have very long curly hair. A little goes a long way. It's been a month and I'm not fully done with the first can/bottle yet. Yes, your hands are sticky during application but your hair doesn't feel sticky after application. Also it does not weigh your hair down. I've tried so many different ones and I will now only use this. It foams up really really well! I started getting all kinds of compliments on curl definition after I started using it. People would comment, what did you do different to your hair? It looks so good and so curly! I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

I love this product so much! Used it for my type 3a curls and paired it with the curl cream and got so much definition! Easy to scrunch out the crunch so my curls are soft and bouncy! And bonus, it smells AMAZING!

Product arrived quickly as normal, no issues with shipping. First thing I noticed as I opened the package was a cute Barbie pink bottle of moose. 2nd thing I noticed was that the lid to my product was completely missing. I was somewhat bummed, since you expect to recieve any item you order and pay for to be intact just as it would be if you purchased it in-store. I used the product the next day, the smell was super yummy! Smelled like vanilla cake frosting but not overwhelming. The product was whipped as stated on bottle, and sprayed out like whip cream. It went into my hair as any other moose, held great, added texture, added waves/curls, and made my hair look and feel in place all day! Bottle was of average size, so great value for the cost. Highly recommend this product, but deducting 1 star because seller didn't send the lid with the product.
