  • Perfect for my needs!
Size: L-Tripod
I love this stand… it’s exactly what I wanted to use for my podcast. I had the mic that connects to a table and just wasn’t feeling it anymore. This stand was pretty easy to put together. The instructions did not match one piece of the equipment and so I reached out to the company. Before they could respond I had already figured it out, but they were pretty responsive. I am so happy with it. It’s great quality. My mic fits with no issue. It’s giving …. 🥰 ... show more

  • Not a bad piece for the money
Size: L-Tripod
It's stronger than the more less expensive stands I've tried. The tubing isn't quite as strong as the more expensive units and the legs don't spread out as far as other stands. If used for mics only and not for monitors or tablets, etc., you won't have a problem with this unit. This stand is easier to store away in travel cases because of the shorter legs and overall weight of the unit. It's not a bad unit for the price. UPDATE 3-27-23: We ordered two units. unpacked one and things were good. Used that opened one in our studio and put the other one with our travel gear. Got on location and tried to put our 2nd unit together. 2 pieces were missing. That makes us reconsider the above rating. we started the process of getting the right parts today. Response time is key customer service issue. Let's see if we have all parts before we go on the road this coming weekend... UPDATE 3-31-23 Parts arrived today. Quick response! Customer service is good! I would purchase this unit again for sure! ... show more

  • Very Sturdy
Size: L-Gooseneck
I like these mic stands very much. They're strong and will be durable, I'm sure. Some accurate instructions to help assemble them would be nice. Not everyone will enjoy putting them together, and some won't be able to do this. Regardless, the stands are very good, and I'd recommend them.

  • Great value for price
When I received this stand I was a little concerned, "how could the stand I ordered arrive in such a small box?" Once assembled, however, the stand is a perfectly functional height and is remarkably sturdy on the expanding tripod base. The joints slide easily and tighten securely, the boom arm also tightens securely into its desired position, though with a little more effort that I was anticipating. The reason for the 4 stars on the "Quality" is due to 1) the light gauge of the steel, not that you need to worry about breaking the stand, but a little heavier steel tubing would feel better in the hand, and 2) the construction of the joint for the boom arm, just seems stiffer and needing more force to move than I would expect. Other than that the stand works perfectly well, and the main stem being i 3 parts means this stand collapses to a very compact form for storage or transport between uses. The mic clips use what to me is a non-standard thread (maybe metric??) so the microphone clips included are the only ones that fit out-of-the-box, but it looks like they have threaded insert already screwed into them so perhaps one could unscrew that from the included clips if you wanted to use a clip of your own. Overall, and for the price, a very serviceable stand. ... show more

  • This is a WHOLE LOT BETTER than I expected.
I have often wondered why nobody has created a collapsible microphone stand that would break down to smaller than the conventional stands we've been using for years. It seems so obvious! They key to using this stand is to not expect it to be what it's not. It's great for a guitar player that doesn't extend the boom out to the extreme limits. It's not so great if you need to fly some drum overhead mics, so use it within its limits and you'll be fine. It's sturdy enough for 90% of the applications. It's lighter than conventional stands and more compact. More than sturdy enough for a vocal mic or micing an amp, kick drum or hihat. FOLLOW UP: After using these stands for over a year, I am as happy with these as I was from the start. They have held up well, and I see no reason why they won’t continue to keep performing. ... show more

Excellent purchase. The built and ease to set up is just what we needed and they come with their own carry bag. Highly recommended.

  • For the price, this stand is fine for home use.
I bought this stand to hold an overhead mic, while recording my drums. I need two, but I wanted to only buy this one at first, to check the quality. This is fine for using once in a while, at home. I would buy stronger stands, with a bit more weight to them, if I was going on stage or doing something more important than just a hobby. My only complaint isn't that big of a deal, but I wish the closed up stand, fit into it's carry bag. You must remove the boom completely. You can't just close it up. It's about five inches longer than the bag. You can see that in the pic that I posted. I'm now going to buy the second one that I need. I hope this helps! ... show more

  • top of stand fell apart, making it useless
I'd really hoped the mike stand would be decent. Well, it lasted 11 months before dissolving at an inconvenient time into two pieces. The attachment where the boom connects pulled out of the stand. It was only slightly crimped in place. Shoddy. But it lasted 11 months.
