I have five ferns that I hang outside on my porch and always hated having to throw them out at the end of the season. I figured I would buy these plant stands to place the ferns on top and bring them inside. The plant stands are less expensive than the ferns themselves. It worked out perfectly. I was able to use the same ferns for two years in a row on my porch and I plan to do it again this year so, these stands have already paid for themselves. I like that that stands are very sturdy and have a simple style to them. I also liked that they were black because it matched the style of the room that they were in. The media could not be loaded. I like how easy these are to assemble. The build quality was ok, as they are a little wobbly, but great for the cost. Was the perfect height to raise my elephant ear so she gets enough light. Can hold only two plants. I like the basic black look because it’s very versatile with any esthetic. Also very light weight. The stand is easy to assemble. It's sturdy and fits a small space on the window ledge that I needed to fill. Most other plant stands are wider but this one is just right for the width of the ledge. I wish it were a little taller but it's still works well to fill the space to add a bit of ambiance for Zoom sessions. ... show more

We originally bought this as a little coffee and snack stand in a very tight place on our front porch. It's at a perfect height to the chair for that purpose. The semi-matte black finish matched the chairs well and it's very simple to assemble, too. Then, we got one too many house plants last week and the stand was temporarily repurposed for a good-sized philodendron in our living room. I purchase two of these stands to place my Apple HomePods on and set on either side of the TV. I thought these would be just be cheap, flimsy stands...which would have been fine for what they were intended for. But I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy, how heavy and solid they are. They hold the HomePods on top and plants on the bottom shelf. They are so sturdy I don't worry at all about them tipping accidentally. They were easy to assemble and also look great! I ordered 2 stands at once. 1 was super easy to assemble & looked great on my deck holding plants on top & bottom. The other 1, however, had damaged upper & bottom shelves, both were dented & scratched. But more problematic was the 2 leg pieces were different lengths, making the stand unusable on my deck because it wobbled badly. I didn’t want to go through the trouble of returning a $20 item, so I tested the defective one on carpet & it was reasonably stable. So I keep the defective one inside holding small plants to hide the scratches & dents. I’d love another stand on my deck, but I’m hesitant because I know I’ll have a 50/50 chance of receiving a usable one. Just know that there’s a reason these are cheap! ... show more
