You get a large bag of coffee beans with this(over 2 pounds). This is a good thing , but because the bag is not resealable, it is bet to have long-term storage options for this if you don't have a large coffee drinking household. The coffee beans don't look like proper dark roast to me, from the perspective of color and oily sheen, but they have a nice aroma and do make a decent cup of pour over coffee. I know what coffee tastes like, but when I opened and tried this new packet, this is not taste of a normal coffee. One of the worst purchases I did on Amazon at this price point.

For the first few times, I brewed this coffee using my trusted drip coffee maker and it was not satisfying (3 stars). Then I brewed it using my Moka coffee pot and it was great (5 stars); strong and smooth.

    • Not as dark as I expected
This was a tasty coffee - I decided to try it as regular brewed coffee instead of espresso, because it was a much lighter roast than I was expecting for "Intenso." Definitely a medium roast, and a nice balanced flavor, but not as rich as I was expecting. It is a large 2.2lb bag, so you are getting a very good deal with this, and I like that it is flexible to use as coffee or espresso. ... show more

These beans make a good cup of coffee. The bag is huge but doesn't have a wire tie or any means to reseal it so if you don't have something to store the beans in, don't open it until after you find a suitable container or some tape or something.
