Had my son install in the crawl space. It took some set up, because he had to square away the electrical. He hooked up a drain tube. I know it has been working amazing, because new cracks in the drywall show it. Ugh... I am very glad I made this purchase the unit is doing what it is supposed. Now to decide what to do as the foundation and support has settled into the dryer ground. I do not hear it running, even when it is totally silent in my house. The benefit is well worth the purchase price. I don't feel I need to manage or maintain it (will have my son check it a couple times a year.) There is a little wet spot in the yard, where the drainage flows to. He just turned it on and set the basic settings. Pleased. ... show more

It was abundantly clear from the minute I took this out of the box that it was well built and heavy duty. Hoping it was equally effective I immediately hooked it up in the basement where we have had consistent humidity issues. I was equally surprised by how well it functions. This unit pulls so much water out the air that my basement has effectively gone from near-swamp status to a bone dry work space. The amount of water this thing removes from the air is baffling. It wasn't cheap but nothing is that does the job this well. The value is for sure there on this Dehumidifier as it performs better than the 3 units that were struggling to do the same job previously. As of right now, this is only getting 1 star. If things change, I will update the post. I have reached out to their customer service via email but have not heard back after 2 days. I realized last night that there is a phone number for them, so I will be calling that in a few days when I have a weekday off. This unit is not working as it should. The RH and GPP are both getting “stuck” and not turning off when it should. I do Not have continuous run turned on. I am very frustrated, as I had hoped this would have controlled the humidity in my partially finished basement. But with it not turning off as it should, my electric bill will be higher. ... show more

Had a rental with a leak on outside faucet and they ended up with about a foot of water in the 16” crawlspace. I needed to get it dried up as quick as possible to prevent further damage to some exposed parts of the ac ductwork. Worst time of my life crawling in thick mud fixing a leak. After pumping out the water Put this down there and set to run constantly. Went back the next week and it was already dry enough to replace the insulated ductwork. This is not your cheap dehumidifier. I have only been using it about one month but it is quiet and quickly reduced the basement humidity. One of my requirements was the drain pump so I do not need to empty the unit.
