  • The blade design differs... The blade design differs...
I own the 62040 corona corn knife and as you can see from my photo, the blade is not the same. I don't know if that's just an old design in the product photos or what but I just bought mine a few weeks ago. It's lighter than a regular corn knife, but it's easy to sharpen and comes with a fairly decent razor cut edge. It cuts great, both for corn and for clearing brush. I use it as a stand in for a hatchet sometimes despite its lightweight design. The only complaint I have, and the reason it's only getting 4 stars, is that the wooden handle is a bit rough and had to be wrapped with paracord even after sanding it smooth. ... show more
