What's not to like about this rod. This is great quality and relatively inexpensive casting rod that acts and feels like a more premium product. For the price i paid for it (there are typically coupons available for most Cadence products sold on Amazon) there is a lot of value here. At 7'3" it is the perfect length i was looking for in a Fast / Medium Heavy configuration. It is nicely balanced and light weight. I like the way it feels in my hands. It has plenty of backbone and picks up well on the strike - definitely aided by the length. The tip is sensitive enough as well. I had a lot of fun throwing Chatterbaits and frogs on this rod this summer. For comparison my favorite casting rod is my Daiwa Tatula Elite which costs more than double. I have several other Cadence rods, although this is the only casting model. I have a great deal of confidence in Cadence rods and mix them in with my Shimano and Daiwa gear quite happily. The rod was shipped well packaged in a rod tube and arrived quickly. I'm overall very happy with it.

I bought the 7.0 medium fast baitcast rod, i am very impressed with the packsge when i first got them and pulled them out of the packaging. this thing looks and feels like a rod that would normally be $200 or more . i like the 30T carbon and stainless steel guides, its's light and well balanced, everything is so smooth with the guides so you can cast with it all day without sore wrists or shoulders. i've fished with a ton of rods over the years but the sensitivity with theses rods it much better then a lot of my high end rods for sure.i would highly recommend cadence .the high performance and value you cant beat.

I purchased the medium power/ moderate action casting rod. Very light compared to other M/M rods I own. Feels good in the hand, well balanced and very sensitive, feels like a fast/mod fast action but I checked it by pulling line through the terminal eye- definitely a moderate action. Reel seat is aluminum. Great quality for this price point. Well packaged by the seller, however mine was damaged in transit. Too bad.

This is the most brittle and fragile rod I have ever owned. 40-ton carbon? Seriously? Don’t get me wrong, they look and feel fantastic. In fact, I liked the lightweight ergonomics and aesthetics so much that I ended up purchasing eight of them. Huge mistake. If you’re a bass fisherman, then these will probably work, as long as you never plan to fish with them in saltwater. I broke two rods my first trip back saltwater marsh fishing. The first big redfish that I hooked eventually made a run towards my kayak and the rod snapped like a twig. At first I thought it was an isolated incident, or perhaps just a freak angle. 20- minutes later, another Cadence rod snapped even easier than the previous one did. Before anyone states that big reds are notorious inshore rod busters, I can emphatically state that most ordinary brand rods can handle a hundred twisting and hard charging reds before breaking. Not the first time out and especially not one with a 40- ton rating. Unfortunately, I will have to relegate the remaining survivors to strictly bass fishing duty. Buyer beware!

Wanted a medium power moderate action for casting Sinko's. Bass Pro did not have any so read the reviews and ordered the Cadence. Just received it so have not fished with it yet. The first thing I noticed is how light it is. I imagine I can fish all day with this rod and not wear my arm out. Tied a plastic worm on and I can cast a smaller worm just as far as I can with a medium heavy fast action rod with a larger worm. And the price was right. This looks and feels like a much more expensive rod. Good purchase!

The rod is seriously light weight. Eva is comfortable and hard. Guides are very strong, with sic inserts. Can't beat that. The action appears to be right on, I won't know for sure until I get on the water with it. I'm pairing this rod with a Lews Mag Pro reel and 12lb floro. The guide wraps are hidden under the black epoxy. I'm not sure if they use twine or tape? If anyone knows for sure let me know. 4 stars because I haven't cast it yet and because I contacted the company and never got a response. "Possible up or down star rating". Update: Rods a total “10” If someone says it’s a nice rod for the money ignore them. This rod is excellent. Period. 5 Stars. I also bought the 6’10” MHMF for spinner baits. “10”
