This is one of my favorite building sets that I’ve purchased as an adult. Love the final product after it was built. The remote control feature surprised me in how much fun I have with it around the house. The cats chase after it and it’s hilarious. What makes it even more fun is accidentally crashing into something too hard and bricks go flying everywhere like it’s a real car accident; I thought it would frustrate me but it’s pretty entertaining tbh, gives you another chance to rebuild it. I believe there was 2 missing pieces but I had similar pieces from another CaDa set that were an exact match. Nevertheless I would definitely buy this set again - the amount of fun that I’ve had with this thing for the price is so worth it. TL;Dr: Just buy it, it’s great.

I have a number of CaDA building sets and ordered the C51076W Classic GT Sports Car Brick Set thinking it was a speed champ sized build. While it is a bit larger, I am very happy with it! The set comes in a nice, giftable box with images of the finished model on the front. Inside are numbered bags of bricks, two sticker sheets, manual and a remote control. The bricks are all Lego compatible and snap together easily and the manual is easy to follow. None of the steps require many parts so it goes by rather quickly. The age range states 14+ years but I think that 10+ would be more accurate since it's a relatively easy build. The base, unlike speed champs, is nice and thick thanks to the mechanical bits inside. The bottom of the base has a battery compartment, on/off switch and a dial to adjust suspension. For some reason, the car requires AA batteries but the remote requires AAA. I wish that they both used the same as it would make it easier to keep spares on hand should the old ones die while in use. Once you have the batteries in, this thing really flies for such a small car! The remote is very basic with just left/right and forward/reverse but, for a car that costs that same as most speed champ builds I own, I am willing to live with it. It has good speed and I was able to transition from the wood floors to our living room area rug without the car stopping. I did end up loosing the two rear bits on the underside behind the wheels. They were pretty sensitive anyway so it's not a surprise. The one thing I don't like is the lack of notice about the app in the manual. There is ZERO mention of the app anywhere in either the manual or the instruction page for the battery usage. I had to go into the recycle bin to get the box out where I noticed that there is a small area on the back that mentions the app, how to use it and where to go to get it. That's pretty poor notification, especially since I don't generally look at boxes that closely. Overall, I like this set. The car is very sturdy and has nice weight to it, it looks great and, for such a small and inexpensive set, it has some great power to it. Kids of all ages are going to love playing with this and it's a great entry into the RC hobby. Definitely worth the $26 price tag.

This is a very attractive model that is easy and fun to build. The bricks are not genuine Lego but the engineering is still quite good. While it is better-looking than the smaller kit, it does not scale with the Tofu Shop kit, so it's more of a standalone. Highly recommended.

Super cool build! RC wise, it’s not crazy fast or anything crazy at all but it’s fast enough to be a lot of fun on hard floors inside. Lego wise, good quality pieces everything came in, fit/looks perfect
