Extremely easy to put together! The fabric is so soft, too. Both of my cats absolutely love this cat tree! They’re 9 (DSH) and 6 (Siberian Forest Cat Mix) years old. It’s easy for them to navigate. The older has claimed the hammock as his bed, while the younger one sleeps in the top. The cat tree is sturdy! The younger cat is 14 lbs and jumps quickly up the tree with minimal swaying from the stand. ... show more

I've had a couple of other cat trees for my cats and so far this one is my (and my cat's) favorite. It's a sturdier design than most so it's less wobbly when the cat is playing and moving around. Additionally, the 3 supports for the top cat perch is much more stable than most with 1 support in the middle. My ONLY complaint, and the reason for 4 stars is that I would prefer if more of the posts were wrapped in twine for scratching. My cat likes to hang over the side of the top shelf and scratch on the posts. He wasted no time shredding the material on 2 of the top 3 posts so I had to invest in some additional 5mm twine to wrap them myself. Even with that, I'd still buy it again. ... show more

The fabric is light and easy to clean, not like the fake wool you see in pet stores that mats. Great color options to choose from to suit your home. *UPDATE* It's been less than 2 months and the scratching posts are worn down to bare cardboard in several spots. This is Talbot and he has never met a cat tree he could not break. He is 3 years old and this is our 5th cat tree. I have always looked for trees that say heavy duty or that can support cats who weigh up to 25 pounds. He weighs 12 pounds and we also have a tiny girl who weighs 6. I bought this one because I am hoping since it is a little shorter it might be a little sturdier. We have previously had a 7 foot and a 6 foot. This one wobbles a little bit. It does have an option to clamp to the wall but I can't do that. So instead I have weighed down the bottom by sliding in a 30 pound jug of cat litter. The extra weight makes it less tipsy. He is enjoying the scratching posts and running up and down. It took about an hour to put it together, including unboxing all the parts. Time will tell if it lasts longer than our previous trees. ... show more
