  • It didn't say it in the description

I was looking forward to getting this tablet and I got it on Saturday. I had downloaded a few things I use like the Twilight app. And I see that the tablet says that the on top feature has been turned off. Of course Twilight has to be on top. They do have a setting for your eyesight but it's an amber light. That is not helping my eyesight. I have very sensitive eyes and I'm waiting to have eye surgery. Is there a way to turn on, on top feature? Is there an actual manual that I can find? If I cannot fix the blue light issue for my eyes I will have to send this tablet back. And I've done a few things with it the last couple of days and I have enjoyed it. Unfortunately it does bother my eyes just a few minutes after I use it. So I'm using my other tablet now but let's be run blue light on it. If it is going to hurt people's eyes it is not good for your eye health. ... show more

  • Good, but not the best.
Color: Black
When I first got this, I was surprised it was running Android 12 Go and not the base Android 12 but that isn't really a big deal. I like this tablet, it's quick but it's not majorly fast or anything. There is better options especially with the quality and sound issues but it's a great choice for someone who wants to buy something that is good for children or light use! ... show more

  • Basic inexpensive Android tablet
Color: 8'' Tab
You get what you pay for, although this tablet does a good job at balancing cost vs. functionality. The HD IPS display is much better than an Amazon Fire (sorry Amazon), but it lacks the deep contrast and wide viewing angle of higher-quality IPS displays. It is sharp and easy to read. Being true HD (1280 horizontal), video looks good, and the processor can keep up easily with streaming apps. The built-in speaker is tinny; I would recommend an external speaker or headphones. It has a modern USB-C port, although you can only use it for file transfer and power (no video out). The camera is low-end, but it has a flash which is unusual in a low-end device. The flash is on the cooler end of the spectrum. The OS nearly stock Android 11 Go with a few minor modifications. You may wish to replace the basic launcher that comes with the tablet with something more functional. This is Android Go, so some advanced functionality is not available. Most (but not all) apps will run on it. The advantage is that you aren't constantly waiting for the device to wrangle lots of resources with its minimal 2GB memory. You can't multitask, really. 32GB storage is enough for more people, and there is a microSD slot for more. The case and screen are very plastic, and I wouldn't drop it, but the texture helps you hold it. It's not as light as a book reader, so you might tire of holding it for a long time. Yes, it will slip into the back pocket of your jeans. Just don't sit on it. [Edit] Now that I've had it for a while: the above still stands, but there are a couple of features that are permanently enabled that I don't like. "Permanently" as in these can't be shut off in the settings, as they are already "off." MAC randomization on restart causes my network to notify me of a "new device" whenever I restart the tablet. WiFi won't stay connected if it's idle for a while and not doing anything like streaming video, even if the display stays on. The "Go" version of Android means I can't patch this behavior with Tasker, unfortunately. These aren't fatal flaws, just annoying. ... show more

  • Poor Connectivity
Color: Black
I pretty much need a tablet to serve as an e-reader so that I can peruse PDFs that I have stored on my Google Drive; occasionally, I pause my reading and do a search to investigate something I'm reading about. More than 50% of the time, this tablet either can't connect to my wifi or says that it's connected to wifi but without Internet. This means that if I want to read one of my PDFs, I can't. When I do a Google Search, it spins for minutes and finally says, "We'll let you know when we complete your search." To make sure it's not an issue with my router or my ISP, I check on my phone. In the same location, it has no problem accessing my wifi or the Internet through my wifi. The other problem is that while the screen brightness is adjustable, even at the lowest setting, it's very bright. I often read when I go to bed or wake up in the middle of the night--the brightness bothers my wife. (Both my phone and the old tablet I replaced with this one can be turned to less brightness.) So I'm giving up. I'll do a factory reset and give this PoS to Goodwill. ... show more

  • Well I’m liking it!
Color: Pink
I really like the ease of use with the initial setup as well as the sleek & smaller look! I have a pink one & it’s for reading my audibles & this will work well for that purpose! YouTube works well when connected to a faster speed of wifi since it’s a Wi-Fi only tablet! I like it & highly recommend…oh yeah & it matches the pictures perfectly well! ... show more
