This is the first time we ever considered buying an RV and really had no point of reference. There are so many little questions we never would have thought to ask and this book does a great job covering the basics so you don't experience buyers remorse.

Great up to date book covering most items of interest to prospective buyers. The only thing I thought that was missing was a discussion regarding vehicle storage, options and costs, i.e., plusses/minuses of indoor/outdoor/home/street/ storage/parking etc. Also a brief discussion about campsite theft would have been informative; I've heard a few horror stories from campers. Otherwise a great book! One last comment, in Georgia the book says I need a CDL to drive an RV over 26,000lbs, that's wrong, no CDL required for non-commercial RV's. ... show more

The book does provide useful information and details about choosing and buying RVs. However, since I assume most people reading this might need guidance in this area, more visuals would have been very useful, especially when comparing different kinds of RVs or explaining certain features.
