This tool box costs more than other trailer tongue boxes, but after reading reviews I decided to pay the extra for the Buyers box. It's solid. I had read how flimsy and light duty other tool boxes were, and this is a sturdy box. The locking mechanism is very smooth as well.

Pricey but well built and suited my purposes. I like that it has a locking mechanism. Latch can be adjusted so that it doesn't rattle. There is preinstalled weather stripping. I mounted it to a cargo carrier by drilling holes in the bottom and using large washers/nuts with the bolts coming up through from below. So far so good. ... show more

Sturdy. Well built. Good seals. For a smaller RV where you are worried about Tongue weight, just enough space for Leveling Blocks and a few assorted tools. Used round u-bolts (separate item, this does not come with attaching hardware) to attach to trailer.
