Butler Creek caps are great. I have them one of my rifles for 33 years. I put them on and haven't fussed with them since and that is a rile I've dragged to Alaska for Moose, Montana for Elk, Canada for Caribou and is my prime deer hunting rifle every year. However, Leupold started threading the inside of they're scope bells to allow fitment of they're own proprietary caps (screw in and magnetic), so I've not had the need to buy another pair of Butler Creek caps until recently. I mounted an old Leupold (I've owned for years, but never mounted) on a new rifle. I bought these caps (this one for the eye piece and a non-thumb operated one for the objective) to protect the lenses. They fit like a glove and open with the flick of a finger. They seal out the moisture and dust, which keeps your scope clear when in the field. Note I used the size chart and since my dimensions didn't fall exactly on an available size, I order the next size down. ... show more
