Excellent binoculars. A little smaller and lighter than full size binoculars. This photo shows a pair of full sized binoculars on the right. This pair of binoculars is next to them, a pair of compact binoculars to the left of these, and a pair of mini binoculars on the other end. Good grip and comfortable to hold. Crisp, clear. Easy to use & adjust. Comes with lens covers for both ends and each cover is attached to each other making it easier to find if you loose them. I was looking for a pair that were more compact and debated on if I should keep these and order another pair that were compact. I ended up returning them, but if I was looking for a good pair this size, I would have definetley kept them! ... show more

I just got these binoculars a couple of days ago. I'm very impressed with the solid feel, light weight and smaller size for the cost. The optical quality is good. (I'm photogrpaher who has paid big busks on lenses, I appreciate good optics.) The focusing is internal, no sliding lens barrel on the outside. The waterproofing and nitrogen charging should help them hold up in the tropical environment I live in. (dust and fungus growth inside lenses happens too quickly here.) I really like the way the eyecups operate for eyeglass wearers. I did find that the diopter adjustment is very stiff, too stiff. I thought the case could be a little larger and better padded as well but for the price, not a big deal. One thing to note is that the listing didn't mention a case. In person, it is darker than pictured. I chose this one for two reasons: 1) Bushnell brand and 2) The color blue pictured in the Amazon description. I was disappointed that it's not the blue I expected. It functions the same so I kept it.

I bought these for my upcoming trip to Alaska. I don't know a whole lot about binoculars, but I have been testing them out by spying on my neighbors. (Hey, don't judge, I live in the suburbs so there's not much else to look at lol.) From my dining area, which is in the back of the house, I can clearly see not only the house behind me, but the houses on the next street. I can't wait to test them out on nature instead of boring houses! Like other reviews have said, the clips for the straps are extremely cheap and mine broke immediately upon opening. I called Bushnell directly, and spoke to a nice lady who sent me BETTER clips at no charge. I deducted a star for that reason, but I'm happy it was not too much of a hassle. I just wanted to put that out there so that if it happens to you, you'll know you can call them and request new clips. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase. ... show more

Substantial— not a toy. We bought 2– one for each of us for a multi-day African safari. It is heavier than expected, but I expect it will hold up to rugged circumstances. The included strap, case and cloth are a plus.

Works good, I let it soak in 5 gallon of water for 24 hours and it had zero fog/leaks, so its good to go. Haven't done a drop test yet, but not willing to do so either. Its just as sharp as expensive binos, zero dimness. The only bad thing is the diopeter cant adjust much back (-), so if you’re far sighted, it might not work for you.
