I don't use the liners when I snowboard because the gloves are warm. The liners are good quality though and I use them when I walk my dog. A friendly tip to beginners, you need to have a decent jacket to keep your hands warm too. If your core gets cold, no glove out there will keep your hands warm.

Recently purchased these and have only had a chance to use them once. First thoughts are that the large seem to be kinda bulky for my taste, but they did the job very well and kept my hands warm and dry the whole day of boarding. These gloves are fantastic! Took them up today and didn't need the liners because it was only 24 degrees. Toasty warm, comfortable, good range of motion, and stayed dry all day! They seem very well made, which was a concern of mine with the reviews of the non-deluxe version.
