This bike has a lot of torque and it feels respectfully quick for its size. 32mph is the top speed on flat ground. Not lightning fast but it's fast enough to be dangerous if you aren't careful or experienced. I chose this bike because I wanted something different from a hub motor electric scooter that I could use to make quick grocery runs and explore the town when the weather is nice. It's perfect for the sidewalk, the bike lane and slow city streets. It feels pretty strong going uphill and I got right around 30 miles out of a full charge. The mini bike is much smaller than expected. States that it can handle 300 + lbs. and 6’4” heights not possible. Wheel size advertised as 16 inch wheel is actually a 10 inch rim / wheel.
