I expected this to be a hydrogel dressing that remains wet and non adherent to the wound. That is not what it is. Someone posted a photo and I wish I would have paid closer attention. His hand was wet and I did not look to see why. This is a sponge soaked in a gel. It is messy as hell. But the worst part is that I expected it would remain wet. It did not. It dried to the wound and peeling it off either took pieces of skin making me bleed or left behind pieces of sponge that had to be scraped off the road rash burn. Fortunately, I ordered multiple burn items and several them were exactly what I wanted just really small. This was an expensive mistake at $39 for 12 and I can’t send back the remaining ten. They would be great for a steam burn to relieve immediate pain but not overnight as a dressing. The gel is very soothing when applied. The tea tree oil smell is strong. I loved the smell. My husband and dogs hated it. I gave 3 stars because I love the brand just not this product for my intended use. ... show more

I don’t usually write reviews but, I had a pretty good burn to the back of my wrist due to engine manifold while changing oil. I ordered this and payed extra to get it next day. This cools the burn and stops the sting almost instantly. I don’t know what’s in it but it works great! I would definitely recommend using it for burns! ... show more

I got a burn from the lip and side of a hot pan hitting my arm. Nearly all the skin came off, so 2nd degree burn. None of the OTC silver gels were relieving the pain. Anything with lidocaine just hurt. Then, when I tried this, it felt like all of the heat and pain was replaced by a cooling layer of gel. I was pain free for an hour or so and then needed to keep doing wound maintenance, and I could finally sleep comfortably. By the next day, I already had a lot of skin closing the wound. I will now keep this stuff in my first aid kit and bring it camping. This stuff is awesome. I’m not a doctor, but this worked for me. I highly recommend it for burns and wounds. ... show more

    • My burn is healing faster than with anything else I've tried

This stuff is pretty amazing. I ordered a TON of stuff to deal with a severe second degree burn I got on my arm from a hot baking pan. The wound got infected and I had to go antibiotics and everything. Nothing was healing the wound and I was having a hard time with that slough material that kept developing (necrotic tissue that forms in the wound bed and has to be debrided for the wound to heal. I tried all kinds of things but found this product healed the wound faster than anything else I tried. It also didn't stick to the wound when I would change out the dressing like most other things I tried. It's a bit messy to work with (it's really saturated), but I will always keep these on hand if I get burned again. It not only sped up the healing but it was extremely cooling and soothing to the wound. If I could only have one thing on hand for burns, this would be it. ... show more
