My baby’s room has large windows and it can get really bright. I didn’t want black out curtains because I’ve been more on the minimalist side, so I went with this. I also looked into reviews of other ones and I really didn’t want one for “decor” I wanted it for her naps to somewhat darken the area. This didn’t job. I liked that it wasn’t a complete blackout material because those just don’t look too cute, but it was light weight enough to be elegant and cute. I live so much. It was a pain to iron and can wrinkle easily. The hanging fixture it comes with isn’t great but I just grabbed a twist hook from the store and used that for less holes. I went with the khaki color.

We made a little reading nook with this in my daughter’s room. It’s super easy to install, good quality material, and nice and long! We got the green one and it’s a nice sage color. The images show a dream catcher inside the canopy, but it doesn’t come with one. I was fine with that because I wasn’t going to use it anyway, but just a heads up if you’re expecting one.

This canopy is really beautiful, and it would fit in a girls or boys room. It provides a nice cover over the end of a baby bed or it can make a cute little half tent for kids to play in. My only issue is the hook. I really don't want to stick anything to my ceiling. I'm going to use a regular metal hook that screws into the ceiling, which I think would be more sturdy, especially if I use it with a drywall anchor. But it is overall a really gorgeous addition to a kid's room and I'm sure the kids in my family will enjoy playing in it for the foreseeable future.

The description says Mosquito Net, but this is a canopy, it would not work for a bug net. I do think the picture is clear on that. The color is true to pic. It came super wrinkled but was easy to steam out. My big concern is the attachment of the hanging strap. Its very thin and if any tugging happened I feel it will tear. I am considering how to reinforce it. I have popcorn ceiling unfortunately so the sticky hanging pad is not going to work, it will rip off and fall. So that is something to think about when considering this canopy. I love the hoop that holds it open. Its flexible and lightweight. I'm happy with this canopy even with the needed mods.
