the new refrigerants don't cool as well as R22. I used this to replace my central unit for the living room and it works good. Thermostat isn't real accurate, but it keeps the room cool and is a lot cheaper to operate than running the central unit. the remote text is too small even with glasses. So far good. I had a 10,000BTU that I moved to the bedroom, should have gotten a bigger unit than this one. Seems to run alot, but still cheaper than the old central unit.

So far, the AC is fantastic. It has cooled my house very well when the weather has been in the mid 90s. My house is about 1100 sqft, but with some shade. Installation was pretty easy, the manual wasn't the best but I found a youtube video that helped with each step. It took maybe an hour and a half. I put it in a horizontal sliding window, I used a metal piece to give support on top, and installed a large metal L bracket in the center to give it more support.

This small unit cools a 450 sq ft area quickly. It’s not silent, but is ok noise wise unless you have it on ECO mode. ECO mode goes on and off so often the tv volume becomes a challenge. Silly, but true. Strangely the WiFi which was super after a long hot day away to come home to a cool home, seemed to greatly reduce the tv streaming. I turned it off and all is well. Great unit, not great WiFi for me.

We bought this because our whole home AC went out and we decided to wait to replace it till the economy settled down. We have a 3 bedroom ranch home and I bought a fan thinking I'd need to blow the coolness around. I've only had to do that once when I was doing baking. It cools the entire house from one end to the other.We are so glad to not go thru the summer hot.

Purchase June 06,2023 I pulled out the air conditioner it was damage the box itself was not it was clearly damaged at the manufacturer. I decided to try to use the air conditioner the weather was in the 90's and I have Asthma. After the setup it seem fine I thought it was just cosmetic I decided to use it that night it was making some noises and the change filter light came on. Unfortunately I don't think this unit is safe and I have already broke down the box so there's no way if returning it I will try to contact the manufacturer again no luck the 1st time

The air conditioners nice. Very quiet, efficient, ect. But let me tell you about the instilation instructions or the lack of there of. No instructions on which screws to use. Must tear the entire unit apart to install into the window. It took over 2 hours for me and my husband to install it. Never dealt with this with past air conditioners.
