I had a version of this years ago and struggled to put the top on. It was beyond frustrating. But this version fits together perfectly and it's super sturdy! The liners are not cheap but totally worth the price, in my opinion. They velcro perfectly to the inside of the box and I throw them out about once a month. The only downside, for me, is reaching inside the little box to clean it. It's so big that you have to really reach inside to scoop; instead, I take the entire top off to clean it. What I love about this litter box: 1. It is LARGE. My cat's breed is bigger and all the litter boxes I have tried have always been too small. This one is perfect. 2. It looks GREAT. Much less of an eye sore than most litter boxes. 3. It is EASY TO CLEAN. The opening is large and the reusable/removable liners make changing the litter extra easy. 4. The filter WORKS WELL. It is a thick charcoal filter and I feel that it really does work well with minimizing smell. 5. It is EASY TO ASSEMBLE. It comes with clear instructions and took me less than 5min. It was easy to put together and is decently sized. It’s very comparable to a standard large litterbox. Both of my adult cats (about 11-13lbs) immediately investigated it and used it within 20 minutes of putting it up. The plastic is relatively thin but when top and bottom are together, it is sturdy enough and easy to clean which is important. The opening is large and comfortable for cats which is good because most cats don’t like fully enclosed litter boxes. My male cat squats to pee so I don’t experience the same issues other reviewers comment but I can see how the seem could become a trap for urine if male cats pee standing up. Important note: THE ROCKS ARE LOOSE. This isn’t really a bother to me, but you do have to remove all of them individually to change the carbon filter. You could also just not use them if it’s that much of a bother. ... show more

Our 3 cats love it. Big enough for bigger cats and does not take up much space. Buy the liners that are made for it, they are a game changer! Good quality. I will say it is a bit pricey for a litter box but it is an elevated look with functionality.

It looks great. If the purpose you are looking for is a hidden litter box, this is honestly pretty good at just that. effectiveness of covering smell is also really good, which is a huge plus since this type of litter box ideally would be discreet enough to keep in a living room (like mine is). You can tell the fake plant and rocks are of really good quality; the fake plant especially doesn’t look painstakingly fake or tacky which I appreciate. The cons I have so far, you’re gonna have to take off the decorative rocks/plant when you change the litter. The rocks in particular are obviously loose and all together a little too heavy to take the top off without spilling them all over. And the top of the sphere is really sleek and has no where to really grip it from. You can try gluing the rocks down but I believe the filter is suppose to be changeable so haven't done that and probably won’t. But it is definitely extra steps when cleaning/changing out the litter. Overall, this litter box is good at what it’s meant to be good at: it’s not an eye sore and doesn’t stink so you can place it wherever you like in the house. So if that’s what you want, and you’re okay with taking a little extra time with the decorative plant/rocks then I would get it. ... show more

I was contemplating spending $90 on a LITTER BOX… but I wanted something more aesthetically pleasing, compact but big enough for my cat. This fits perfect in the bathroom and cat got quickly accustomed to using it. It feels sturdy and looks cute!

We have a large cat and a picky cat. Our 18lb cat seems to have enough room. And our picky girl who I was afraid would disapprove of it used it right away and seems to like it. Thats a win win for our household. There are other similar faux planter litter boxes that were less expensive, but this one had the biggest dimensions. I am happy with the appearance and quality. The description is 100% accurate in my experience. If the top is not lined up properly with the bottom you’ll have a hard time putting it on. I find I just need to pay attention to what I’m doing and there is no problems attaching it. I purchased the suggested reusable liners and they fit perfectly and help to completely change litter. Overall I’m happy that with the aesthetic and functionality of this litter box. Yes you can get a cheaper litter box, however I am pleased with this one and plan on getting a few more to replace our other litter boxes in our home. I do recommend this litter box. ... show more
