I wondered whether it was too extra dropping $20+ on a dog bowl, but this is totally worth it! It came in really solid packaging, and when I first opened it I thought it was a beautiful ceramic piece (at least prettier than I expected just looking at the pictures lol). I love that it's dishwasher and microwave safe, and it's quite hefty and seems sturdy. It came with 3M anti-slip pieces to put on the bottom of the dish, but I don't think the bowl will be slipping and sliding without them. In my opinion totally worth the price.

This was a great purchase - it's very heavy and sturdy. I didn't even have to attach the rubber feet - it's heavy enough that it doesn't slide around or tip over at all. I love that it's ceramic and not plastic. Love the color too!

Wow!! My girls previously ate upon beautiful deep dish style plates by Anthropologie, but we found ourselves staying with friends over Christmas who used slow feeders. I therefore decided to experiment with this style, and I could not believe how perfectly the slow feeders affected the consumption process. My girls seemed to enjoy the puzzle-like nature of accomplishing their nourishment. The bowls of subject were plastic, so I set the mission to find ceramic slow feeders. After many hours of reading reviews and viewing pictures and specifications, I settled on this bowl by Le Tauci. I state "settled" because my heart felt so sad to abandon the beautiful dishes by Anthropologie. I completely did not expect for these to fully replace the Anthro plates in my heart. BUT LET ME ANNOUNCE THE REALITY!! These slow feeder ceramic bowls by Le Tauci are superbly DIVINE!!!!!!!!! Super high quality. Beautiful craftsmanship. Very pretty. Very heavy. Sturdy. Wonderful!! I prefer to hand wash my dishes because filling a dishwasher would take days, and these become clean with a few scrubs and a dub-a-dub-dub!! Did I mention that the bowls are SO PRETTY?! My puggles weigh 23.5 pounds each, and for the purpose of these bowls they eat approximately 300 grams per day per girl of The Farmers Dog with raw goat milk (plus lots of vegetables and bovine tracheas throughout the day). The 1.5 cup version of this slow feeder works perfectly on a two-times per day Farmers Dog feeding basis. I highly recommend this ceramic slow feeder to anyone who wishes to enhance their dog's (or dogs') nourishment experiences whilst accomplishing the prettiest aesthetic imaginable. Well done, Le Tauci!!

Got this ceramic bowl because our Labrador was having breakouts and it was suggested to get a ceramic bowl. She didn’t quite know what to make of it at first, but it is great at slowing her eating down. Otherwise she inhales her food and ends up on the floor a while later. This bowl is sturdy, doesn’t move around that much but not that heavy either. Overall happy with this so far

We have 2 dogs that just gobble their food so quickly that I wonder if they might choke. We now bought 2 different designs and colors, and it does wonders. The speed of gobbling wend down significantly. It is also ceramic so it is easy to wash, and doesn’t get sticky after few uses.
