This watch just arrived last night and it is gorgeous. It manages to be both chic, classic, sexy and elegant all at the same time. The mother of pearl face is an inky black with beautiful and quite subtle mother of pearl depth and colors such as pink, blue and lavender, which I managed to capture in one of the above pix. It is far more lovely than pictures could share. The color of the band is not a standard black; it is a shiny gunmetal style black ceramic…not grey, and it is a perfect match for the rich, rose gold accents in bevel and band. It was described as “new” and I believe the watch was new, but I would have been disappointed if I were presenting this as a gift, because the box was damaged and the Bulova warranty information card inside the watch case was badly bent. Clearly, the box has been around the block. But I was keeping the watch and most importantly, the watch itself had no scratches, came with protective peelable plastic protections, and the crown/stem protector was in place. I went to the website as instructed to set up the watch, and it began working immediately. I have a very small and delicate wrist. I absolutely do not find the size or the weight of this gorgeous timepiece to be too heavy; I have much larger and heavier watches. This will be a superb addition to my wardrobe as it easily transitions from day to night. My only regret is not buying it in white as well, as it has gone up $35 in the last week. The watch did not come with extra links, but unless you are blessed with Reubenesque arms/wrists, there is plenty of room in this watch for you without adding links. It has approximately one full inch of extra space for me. I plan to remove at least one link so as to keep it at a bracelet-fit and not tight. Highly recommend this beauty! A must-have. ... show more

I bought this watch as Christmas gift for my wife. She has not seen it yet of course but here are my observations. Came well packaged and protected. The Mother of Pearl face is beautiful and once it hits good sunlight it really shows off the multi colors and blue background, in low light it will look more opaque/white but either way is gorgeous and gives a real high end touch. The diamonds are great touch and again add that extra bit of class and sophistication. However, the bezel does not rotate at all, even though it gives the appearance it will or should. I didn't notice that the spec's did not state the bezel is non-rotating. A rotating bezel on "Marine" watch with 100 M water resistance is a standard on most watches like this, so the fact that it didn't was a disappointment for me at especially at this price point, my wife probably wont even care though. Other than that, the watch is very beautiful, feminine and I am sure my wife will absolutely love it. I like Bulova watches and have a couple of my own. This watch has a great "fit & finish" sturdy construction with high quality standards and materials and the time piece will be a family heirloom for sure. ... show more
