I bought this hat because I was in need of a new fishing hat after I lost my old one. After receiving the hat of course I tested it out. The hat itself looks very high quality for the price. And no sun gets in your eyes while wearing it which is the main purpose of the hat. The only downside I have is the comfort. It kind of pushes into your forehead a bit and can be a bit uncomfortable if you wear it for long periods. If you're looking for a hat just to wear outside for a few hours than this hat can be good. But if you are like me and like wearing hats for a lot more than just a few hours, I don't think this is the right choice for you.

Love this hat! It's lightweight and flexible. I have a large head and immediately put the strap to the largest size. Pleasantly surprised I had to adjust the strap smaller. Fits my entire head. Also, no velcro, just an adjustable strap. No more long hair caught in velcro!

Sorry, sadly this hat was not cool and lightweight. I was a little surprised when I first took this hat out of the package. It looked nice, but felt much heavier than expected. I thought the mesh in the maroon fabric was pretty dense. Later, when I wore the BuiltCool hat outside on a warm day, I did not find it cool at all. I’ve worn it again, the same not cool feeling.

I work outdoors for a large company and did not think it would work but if you rent it with cold water and put it on your head, you will be very comfortable for hours in the extreme heat. My job is outside the entire day. Awesome awesome product.

Bought this for my husband since he works at a golf course here in NC where it is hot and humid. He had a plain blue cooling hat from another manufacturer and needed a second one. While he likes the design of it it’s not as lightweight as his 1st hat but it works.

I wanted a black hat and since it said this was a "cooling" hat" I bought it. It is light weight but I don't find it anymore cooling than any other hat. I use it for walking. I have even put it in the freezer to see if it retains the cold and it does not so once you get outside with it, other than the light material, I feel no difference.
