I got this for my mom's toothache. Compact treatment kit. Once I figured out how to put the wand in the applicator, it was easy to use. Serum is thin and application can be less precise after application because the serum spreads and numbed her teeth around the affected tooth and the side of her tongue. A little inconvenient however the pain was relieved. Quality serum that does what it says it will, numbed my mom's toothache. Good value because though the serum bottle is small, you don't need to use large amounts of serum for an effective treatment. Tastes awful. Really needed some kind of flavoring. Has a chemical scent as expected.

Bad teeth run in my family. I've had dental problems since I was a little kid. When you think of relieving dental pain you probably immediately think of buying some Orajel. That's what I always did. Several years ago I was in agony. I had the worst toothache, but couldn't immediately see a dentist. I ran up to Walmart and literally bought every single toothache relief product they had. I was desperate! I bought the Orajel liquid, Orajel gel, the Orajel cream, Anbesol gel, some (disgusting) Red Cross Eugenol oil, and this DenTek kit. 'DenTek Instant Oral Pain Relief Maximum Strength Kit for Toothaches' is superior to every other toothache relief product I've ever tried, for a couple reasons: 1.) Rather than the gel and cream products that are out there, this kit contains a liquid. If you've got a cracked or broken tooth, sometimes a liquid is the ONLY way to get the product where you need it. The liquid also seems to start working faster, and work better overall. 2.) If I can't find one of the DenTek kits locally, during an emergency, my #2 choice is the liquid Orajel. The DenTek liquid seems to work just as good as the Orajel, but what gives DenTek the edge is the rest of the kit. When I use liquid Orajel I have to make sure I have clean Q-Tips on hand. The 'DenTek Instant Oral Pain Relief Maximum Strength Kit for Toothaches' contains 50 of those little stick applicators, and 1 reusable handle. You've got everything organized in the plastic case that it comes with. Unlike with the liquid Orajel, where I either have to get up and get Q-Tips from the bathroom every time, or, find a place to store the Q-Tips and Orajel together. The plastic case also makes traveling much easier. When I'm having bad dental pain, but am forced to leave the house, I just throw this little kit right in my purse. I also like the material, and size of the applicator sticks over regular Q-Tips. They're much smaller, and much more sturdy than Q-Tips. Instead of dipping the applicator into the liquid and then just rubbing it on my tooth/gum, I like to leave the applicator at the spot where I'm experiencing the pain. Kind of like when you go to the dentist, and they have you sitting there for a while with one of those wooden cotton tipped applicators sticking out of your mouth, so you're a little bit numb when they give you the novacaine injections. That's what I like to do to relieve my toothaches. Regular Q-Tips are just cardboard with a cotton tip, so if it sits in your mouth long enough, it's going to get all soggy and nasty. I'm not exactly sure what the DenTek applicators are made from. Obviously plastic, and then the tip is some kind of super soft bristles. Whether you're currently experiencing a toothache (in which case, I'm SO sorry!) Or whether you're looking for a product for future dental pain/emergencies, I highly recommend 'DenTek Instant Oral Pain Relief Maximum Strength Kit for Toothaches.' PSA: It's never EVER too late to start taking proper care of your teeth! No matter how bad your teeth are currently, they can always get worse. I wish so much that I had taken better care of my teeth when I was younger. At one point in my mid twenties, I was like screw trying to take care of my teeth, they're already messed up anyways. Silly, stupid me! My teeth were impeccable compared to what I've got going on now. And even now, they're great compared to what they COULD be, if I don't start taking better care of them asap. So PLEASE take care of your teeth! Brush and floss every day, especially before bed. And See your dentist regularly, preferably every 6 months, but at least once a year. Don't wait until you're in pain to make the appointments (like I usually do.)

I was waiting for a root canal from a tiny cavity between two teeth and couldn’t get into the dentist for about four days. I ordered this based on the reviews, and it really worked very well! Since it’s a liquid it was able to get down to the nerve. Glad to say I received my root canal and no longer need this, but happy to have it in hand. The only downside is that it doesn’t last TOO long, but long enough that you don’t feel like you need to reapply every 15 minutes.

These are easy to use. They do not stay on for very long. It is hard to not want to play with them. On average they stayed on for an hour and a half. It does take the pain away right away. They are expensive however pending on how many canker sores you have these are handy to have on hand in case you get big sores.

I am in need of dental work, which I'm having soon...yay! My teeth are very sensitive and my gums can hurt. This actually works. I was shocked. Very powerful numbing and you can use the same applicator later and it will still have product, which surprised me. Does not sting or anything like that. Works!
