I saw this on an ad on Facebook so I was hesitant to believe that it was worth the cost. I can safely say this is one of the best purchases I got for my son and my sanity. Living in the Midwest, doing the carseat jacket shuffle every time we were in and out of the car sounded like such a drag and a recipe for frustration. Being a first time mom I had no idea how to go about handling winter, jackets and car seats. This item seemed like a logical investment. The instructions on the tag were very clear on how to use it. The back of the jacket is very thin, about as thick as a sweatshirt, so I feel completely safe keeping him in this coat while strapped in to the carseat. Though I will say I don't think its warm or thick enough to be outside in it for a long period of time, he stays very warm just going to house, car, store, etc. I ordered a size up since that is what the company and other reviewers recommended. I didn't want to have to buy another one mid-winter because he outgrew the first one. Overall it fits great! The sleeves run a bit long, but I just roll up the cuffs and that solves the problem. Since my little one is weirded out by mittens, having those long sleeves have actually come in handy.

Love this coat! Warm, Fits well, Safe, and has saved me so much time! I was in a car accident (my car was totaled), thank God my son was not in the car. After experiencing such an impact it scared me to buckle my son with his coat on, even if it was thin... On cold hectic mornings, I would have to sit in the car until it warmed up then take off his coat and strap him in. This coat has saved me 10 min every morning. The upper velcro on the coat is amazing it leaves room for the car seat straps to sit comfortably under the coat. Thank you! *** I had this coat for over a year now (Yes, it still fits my son I bought it a little big on him, and now we have it for two winter seasons!!!), I can tell you, it was so well worth the investment!! I'm not sure why people are saying it's cheaply made and not nice looking. My son is very warm in it and personally, I've got compliments on his coat. A coat is a coat, it looks like a coat. Do you want to take fashion over your child's safety?? I am now trying to invest in one for my daughter (6 Months).

Let me start with the positives. I really want to love this coat, I think the mechanics of it are great. My ASP kiddo this is the first coat we’ve been able to get him to keep on. It seems comfortable to him without getting over heated in car. However we have had it a little over two weeks and the seems popped today simply lifting him out of his car seat today in the underarms, please note that he is not a rough and tumble toddler, he isn’t large (he’s almost 3 and 25 lbs) and he’s only worn it a handful of times. At this price point I’m pretty bummed that it last such a short time. Long past due update as it simply slipped my mind to come back. I was able to contact the company, they had me send proof of purchase, and photos, and then quickly shipped out a new coat and included a return shipping label to send back the ripped coat. We have had no issues since and loved the coat the rest of the winter, with plenty of room to grow this upcoming fall and winter seasons. With that I have changed my star rating.

Amazing!!! Works just as described. Initially I was very nervous spending ~$60 on a toddler coat, but this thing is hands down one of the top 3 parenting tools I've discovered in my 9 years of parenthood. After reading about who invented this coat, I was even more interested (a mom). Buy it. I slip my toddler into it and velcro it. Then, pop the kid into the carseat and and slip his arms through the carseat straps with no hassle. Zip it up and away we go. He doesnt mind it at all (which I was nervous about prior to purchasing). The coat is high quality. Fuzzy, soft fleece inside and a water resistant outside with fluffy fill on the arms and chest. Thinner back. I can tell this was invented by a mom. It 100% makes sense. Next to the nose Frida and dyson animal 11, this is an amazing product.
