Because I am 5 ft 9 inches, about 200 lbs, give or take. I like that I can order in the length I need. I am curvy, so I usually buy an extra large based on the suggestive size based on Amazon reviews from other customers. I bought a large one this time. Because that's what I usually wear in other yoga pants. I really like the fit. The materials are good quality, it is very soft, and comfortable. I don't have to pull them up throughout the day. I’m obsessed! These pants fit my perfectly and make me look and feel good. I like that they are straight leg and a little bit long so they sit nicely over sneakers. I get lots of compliments on these pants and I’ve bought them in several colors. Love the slimming style. Very flattering. Length was a little long for me at 33", but 31" would have been too short. I'm 5'8". Would rather the extra length than have them too shirt. Back pockets are nice. One negative: SIZE UP if you want a looser fit. I'm XXL and, while these fit nicely, they are t as high wasted as I would like and very close to my skin. I do like a looser fit but 3XL isn't offered. The material is so soft and comfy. Can't beat the price, either! ... show more

Being a tall woman with an inseam of 37" means you have a really hard time finding pants that are long enough for you. You can't just go to a store. It means online shopping only. That's when I found these pants. I have 7 pairs of these pants now. They're a lil expensive so I didn't buy them all at once, but they are totally worth it. They fit really nice with a control top panel and the ones I bought have back pockets. The pockets are not too deep so I suspect they are for the look. They are very flattering and when I wear them, I look like I just got a tummy tuck! They are not see through because the material is pretty opaque and not thin. I have had my pants for a while and haven't gotten any rips or snags. I've washed and dried numerous times without any shrinkage. ... show more

I like the color, the material and the size fits well, but the only pocket has a small opening, and I cannot manage to fit in my iPhone 12, not a particular big model. It can only stand half in and half out, on the waist, not very useful!
