    • Pretty good option for a bigger fridge cold brewer
The good: - The size is superb and it fits in the door of a fridge -It looks beautiful, and the glass is sturdy -The filter doesn't let any coffee grounds through, and filling it up is the perfect amount for 8 cups so no measuring needed The bad: -It takes forever to fill. Like 20-30 min. I don't know if this could be helped with a design change or if it's just the nature of a long skinny filter. -The lid is not air tight The ugly: -It fell from my fridge door and shattered on impact (obviously, it's glass) and I'm trying out a half gallon mason jar in the meantime. Might cave and re-order this. ... show more

    • Generally a good product; wire handle for grounds/leaves is weak and breaks easily
I like the capacity of this pitcher, and the stainless steel construction of the grounds/leaves basket is better than some other products I've purchased. The one weak link is the wire handle that allows you to remove the grounds/leaves basket. It broke inside of a week of owning it. The product is still usable without the wire handle, but it's annoying that the wire handle is so weak and poorly made. ... show more

    • Easy cold brew at home
One of the best purchases I’ve made. This is my second one because I broke the other. Not a manufacture issue, that one was my fault. Like any glassware youll have to be delicate with it. That being said Ive made countless batches of cold brew at home. The metal filter makes it so easy to brew a batch over night or a full day when I want to make it stronger. I find that if I add the coffee in portions and hydrate in between it guarantees that all the beans will be soaked and it will give the best extraction. Once I take the filter out, it brings the water level down so I just replenish with fresh filtered water to the top. It waters it down just a bit which is perfect. One batch will last me about a whole work week. If I’m sharing it with my wife, which I often do, itll last about 3 days. ... show more

    • Easy To Use, Easy To Clean, And Tastes Great!
We own the 1.5 and 2 quart cold brew systems from BTäT. Purchased the 1.5 qt first and really like it. It replaced another that did not have a hopper for the grounds, and was horrible to clean. The BTäT design is so much better! After owning it for a year, we needed a larger version, so purchased the 2 quart. We actually like this better, as the bottom-heavy design makes this a bit more stable. It has the same type of hopper, works in the same manner. One of the things that works really well for us is the hopper for the grounds. We are on a septic system, and keeping debris out of the drain is extremely important. The hopper is instrumental in that. We have grown spoiled with cold-brew coffee. It’s smoother, and tastes so much better than any from the coffee stands and much better than the green mermaid’s. While a lot of folks use it for iced coffee, we make hot coffee daily with our cold brew, by mixing it with hot water around 50-50. It’s delicious. ... show more
