Wow, these are actually amazing for the price. They are not real wood, but they are NOT that fake plastic which fades and cracks with time. The up/down feature does not have a pull cord, but it actually works - just pull the center of the blinds up or down and it stays right where you want it.

Purchased two for my room at first and it was very nice and convenient, so I purchased another two for another room and they ended up being a much poorer quality than the first order. The sliding mechanism wasn't as smooth and sometimes it got stuck entirely if the blinds are closed all the way. They also started warping/sagging after only 2-3 months of use. ... show more

Seemed like a long wait to arrive but they came a few days early? Heavy duty blinds, they look good, easy to put up simple. They go up and down with no cord, pretty neat. I'll be buying more when I get to the other windows. Hope they last as long as the really cheap miniblinds have?
