It's sleek and sexy, and I love the warmth that the wood accents bring to this coffee maker. My favorite options are the ones that allow for low-acid (less acidity in the flavor, but also less caffeine) + the Americano option when I insert an espresso pod. The first machine I got was actually broken, as it wasn't letting me do the initial cleansing cycle. But their customer service was quick to help me resolve it, and I was able to get a replacement unit. The Bruvi is great for anyone that can appreciate a good cup of coffee, but isn't so into it that they want the ritual of grinding beans each morning and using a scale and timer. The app is also great for letting you know when your brew is done (A good feature if you're making cold brew as it can take awhile), letting you know how much coffee you're drinking, and what coffee you've been brewing. I think they made this machine really simple in terms of refilling water, cleaning, and general operation. My only downside is that the pods are not accessible at local stores. Amazon has just a few selections of B-pods available. Their website does give you 20% off the pods if you set up a subscription though. Excited to try the green tea option when that releases next year!

The unit looks great and is easy to operate. Since the coffee pods are proprietary to this brand, you must purchase them from Bruvi. There are only a couple of flavors available from Amazon and therein lies the problem. Their order fulfillment and logistics processes are very flawed. They will charge your credit card even when the items are out of stock. One of my orders took almost a month in 3 separate shipments after I was charged in full, and the typical order takes a week or more to arrive after you've been charged. They continually state they are a start-up and then blame the weather and other shipping issues that are not under their control. Bruvi is the only vendor, of many that I use, whose order fulfillment and logistics are so unreliable. Don't put away your other pod coffee maker yet. UPDATE: After a year of frustrating B-pod logistics and delivery issues, I've cancelled my subscription and will go back to my trusty Keurig.

We have a Bruvi for the house and my husband, who is a bit of a coffee snob, had me buy one to keep at work on his desk. He could not stand the Keurig machine they have and needed something just as convenient. The minute his colleagues saw this stunning machine, everyone wants a coffee all the time -- no one wants the Keurig anymore. It's just as easy if not easier to use, and the coffee is not only delicious and premium, but there are so many more options you can make: hotter, low acid, cold brew, iced, espresso, Americano and of course, just regular coffee. And all of this in a multitude of sizes. It also helps that he can just throw the pods away and not have to open or separate them to discard correctly, thanks to their special pod that allows these to degrade in a landfill. Get one, cuz you will probably want one for everywhere you go.

The machine arrived with great instructions that were really easy to follow, making setup almost a breeze. When I attempted to run the initial cleaning cycle, the pump was dry. Luckily, the unit came with a small hand pump to help prime it. The instructions made this part sound a lot easier than it was for me. I had to prime the pump probably seven times before water flowed. This was difficult and a smaller person(I’m over 200 pounds) would never be able to create the pressure it required. My grip was tested to its limit. After getting the pump working and running a clean cycle, I downloaded the accompanying app and attempted pairing via Wi-Fi. This resulted in a dozen error messages before finally functioning. Last, I made a good mug of the brown stuff and quite enjoyed how easy it was after setup. I think the b-pods are well designed and make this better than a keurig. I can’t wait to brew another cup from under the sheets tomorrow.

It has been a long time waiting for a single serve coffee machine to be hygienic, cool looking, and easy to use. I own a white and purchased a black one of our church. I love that specialty coffee providers like LAMILL, have their coffee available for subscription on the Bruvi app. One of my favorite functions is to schedule the brew so when I wake up my coffee is ready to enjoy. Other highlights are the cold brew function and that the fully recyclable pod contains 14 grams of coffee. Perfect ratio for my morning cup!

My friends think I'm a coffee snob. It's my one guilty pleasure and I do indulge! That being said when I first heard of the Bruvi my curiosity was peaked but I had tried the Keurig years ago, I was not impressed by the lukewarm dirt water it produced. Since then I've had a Nespresso, Breville, DeLonghi and all your traditional coffee gadgets. My all time favorite drinks are drip coffee and Americanos. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I am so happy I did! The first thing I noticed was how aesthetically pleasing it is! So much better in person than online pictures. I've gotten so many compliments from friends about how "pretty" it is. The best part is this machine is beauty AND brains! It has so many features, hot water, Americano, coffee with desired strength and ounces. It heats so quickly! I easily pop in a b pod of my choice of either coffee or expresso, lower the level and within a minute I'm drinking HOT coffee! I have noted some reviews noting that the lever can be hard to lower. This is true...IF YOU FORGET TO EMPTY USED B PODS, it holds a lot so this doesn't need to be a daily thing. I forgot because I was so excited trying all the yummy flavors in the variety packs. Another plus is the machine is really user friendly and quiet! I already subscribed to thier auto delivery of new pods and still want to buy thier travel mug that fits the machine. Very happy I took a risk on a new product, I am a fan!
