I like this angle grinder a lot. It takes Dewalt type 20V batteries. I have a couple of Dewalt cordless 20V tools, so I have batteries for this tool. It seems really well made and solid. I like the brushless motor, because it is more efficient and powerful. The run time on this tool is pretty good, and my batteries fit perfectly. It comes with an assortment of discs, and a tool for changing them. This grinder seems well balanced and tough, and has a nice disc guard and extra side handle. This is an excellent addition to your cordless tool box, and should last a long time. This angle grinder is very affordable at under $60, without the batteries. It is described as having 6 variable speeds, but I can’t discern any variation at all. Mine seems to just turn on and off. All of my other angle grinders are corded and only have one speed, so I’m not too concerned about that feature, but will rate it at 4 stars for that issue alone. Otherwise I’m very happy with it.

Brushless motor in this grinder is very powerful, the variable speed trigger is very helpful starting your grinding project. If you have DeWalt 20 V lithium ion batteries add this grinder to your cordless tools why by brand name when you can get quality like this for a fraction of the price?

It fits my dewalt batteries and works good with good balance, power, and battery life. Please note that it is a 3 speed only and not a variable speed tool as stated and is why I am removing 1 star Other wise I like it alot.

The media could not be loaded. The grinder kit includes 2 grinding, 2 cutting and 2 flap discs. It appears to be built well and operates as expected. Battery life seems about normal as all grinders are hard on batteries. I wish it had a quick release/lock to adjust the guard, which requires a screwdriver. Also, there is no storage for the wrench, so I had to attach it to the tool with a latch and some stainless-steel zip-ties. I did like the variety of discs included with the kit. Overall, should be a good tool to have around the garage for cleanup and fabrication work.

Nice cordless grinder, ideal for garage and DIY work. Compatible with DEWALT 20V batteries but doesn’t come with one. I used a 5″ wheel to cut angle iron — worked like a charm!

Great cordless grinder for small metal jobs. I used it with a 4-1/2″ disc to cut steel tubing and grind welds. Works perfectly with my DEWALT 20V batteries (battery not included). Light, smooth, and easy to handle.

Solid angle grinder for the price. I’ve used it on rebar and stainless sheet — plenty of power. Just make sure to use a 4.0Ah or higher DEWALT battery for better runtime.
