Totally awesome grinder! My husband had a trailer hitch with a thick lock that needed to be cut off because the owner had lost the key. He thought this would be the perfect opportunity to test out this grinder he had in his tools. It cut through the thick lock effortlessly. He noted that it was very easy to use and required very little effort to cut through the lock. After cutting the lock, he also used it to cut through rebar and another lock for his client. He mentioned that the motor was strong and never skipped. The grinder isn't too heavy, and the battery lasts a long time; even after cutting through all those materials, the battery barely used any power, and he didn't need to charge it at all. He said this was definitely worth every penny. The cost for such a good-quality grinder was extremely affordable. If you do any type of construction and need a reliable grinder, this is a must-have. You will not be disappointed with the quality of this tool.

Excellent hand polisher, very easy to use and being lightweight allows for easy polishing in hard-to-reach places. Its two batteries last long enough to do continuous work, avoiding the tedious process of having an electrical connection and cable. It has a charger and its charging time is very fast. Great purchase for its low cost, I recommend it 100%.

You have to deliberately mash the locking button hard to do a blade change. Also the bearings make a grinding feel when turning.

Edit 7/17/25: Missed this during the quick once over done shortly after the grinder arrived - the cutting disc I put on must have been last used on a cheapo FarborHreight with a smallish arbor because it had an adapter ring that I didn’t notice. Meaning this arbor/spindle is NOT the more standard 5/8”-11, but this one is an M14-2. Also known as “M14 coarse.” Verified with a trip to the hardware aisle at a local big box store… ————————————————————————— Very affordable compared to the real deal and definitely useful. It can feel unrefined and rough spinning in the hand, depending on how balanced whatever disk is attached to the spindle. Just in the few minutes it took to figure out the different speeds (with a thin 115mm/4.5” metal cutting wheel attached), my hand still has that post vibration exposure “tingle” more than ten minutes later. Speaking of speeds - while the item description says “variable speed” it doesn’t mention that the four speeds are discreet, and not infinitely variable. When the power switch is engaged, it goes full blast with all four LEDs lit at a little more than 10000 rpm. At three lights, it’s a little over 6000 rpm; at 2 LEDs it spins around 5000 rpm and the slowest speed is around 4300 rpm. To get a slower speed, the “power” button has to be pressed before the speed indicator LEDs go out. I’ve tried every way I can think of to get the thing to “remember” its last setting after powering off, but no luck. It can’t be selected before the power switch is slid forward. Well, at least with anything I tried. No manual to peek at, at least not in the box that arrived. Speaking of the main sliding power switch, it feels like one unlucky drop and it’s DOA. Not sure how long the little tab on that switch will last- it feels less than locked when it’s supposedly locked on. Since I’m not too much of a klutz, there hasn’t been any real world observation of how tough this thing is, or how well it’ll do dropping onto a concrete floor. The included spark guard is easy enough to install. After watching a video of (luckily) a woman get part of a shattered disk embedded in the thick safety pants covering her outer crotch, I’ve been using these guards religiously. My recommendation is for everyone to use them, even if all you’re doing is buffing something at the slowest speed. Because if something flies off and dings any of you fellas square in the There, Ouch!

This sander-grinder, let me tell you, is a marvel! Excellent for this new project I'm starting at home. I'm building a new kitchen, and it's even worked for cutting tiles. Its design makes it very comfortable to handle. The power is really good; it cuts and sands with ease, regardless of the material. I've worked with wood, metal, and plastic, and it's been a success every time. It's very easy to change discs. Plus, the safety system gives me confidence when using it.
