I like this enclosure. Easily assembled. Fits tight on frame. Fan works good for me but mine is close to a windows. Bought it during Prime Days so the price was right.

This is a low cost substitute for a rigid enclosure. The plastic viewing material is wrinkled from packing, and I haven’t been able to smooth it out, therefore the view is distorted. The exhaust port is on the right side and can not be changed. I needed it on the left side to reach a window. It does exhaust the smoke and gasses, but the exhaust fan is not very powerful so it gets overwhelmed easily.

I was prepared for weak connectors and trouble putting the cover on the frame but experienced neither. I found it particularly easy putting the cover on by opening it upside down on the table and then setting the frame (inverted of course) down into the open cover. No struggles, no need for using a hairdryer (as I read in one review). Although I’ve not used it during laser operations I did turn on the fan and was pleased with the volume of air being moved. Seems well made. So far, very pleased with my purchase!

I had to add a set of stand-offs to my Laser 2, so that the laser bed could be mounted below it without interfering with the rollers of the laser machine, so you may need to adjust the laser platform to allow the honey comb to be installed below. I believe it was worth implementing it.

The enclosure works very well. the light is bright enough to see what you are working on. Assembly was very straightforward and easy to do. The fan is strong enough to pull smoke out of the enclosure but the included filters aren't quite up to the job. I bought separate 6" round carbon filter elements and cut them down to fit the inlet and outlet of the fan tube and that helped a lot. Good all around enclosure for the money. Even with the cost of the extra filters, it is less than some of the more expensive ones available.

This is a very good product? It is not a rigid sided box, but it does have all the accessories necessary to enclose an open Gantry laser engraver. LED lights are very handy. I highly recommend this product and the seller! If you’re looking for a product, that would be a more financially practical item for your laser engraving until you can get enough money to buy or make an enclosed box. This is the way to go.
