The XM3700 is perfect for the sewer looking to expand their sewing skills. With 37 stitches built in, the XM3700 is ideal for garment construction, decorative stitching, heirloom sewing and quilting. The XM3700 comes with 5 accessory feet including a zigzag foot, zipper foot, blind stitch foot, buttonhole foot, and button sewing foot, it also has a built-in accessory storage compartment. Simply slide off the storage compartment to convert the flat bed surface to a free arm, perfect for sewing smaller cylindrical items as cuffs, sleeves, and baby clothes. The built-in LED light provides a brightly lit workspace. It has one 1-step, auto-size buttonhole, automatic needle threader and drop-in bobbin to make sewing a breeze.

Mostly it's been used to repair work pants but I've also used it to add knee pads to pants that didn't have them. The Brother XM3700 sewing machine is an excellent beginner machine with 37 built-in stitches. That’s all the stitches I ever need. I chose the option that included five sewing feet, because I already had a case from my other Brother's machine. This machine is simple to use and runs smoothly. It’s a great loaner machine when people come to my Home, and I teach them to sew… The Brother brand stands out above the rest. In my opinion for The everyday person. Experienced sour of over 40+ years experience, and I’m familiar with Bernina, Janome, Singer, along with Brother's machines. I was able to make over 30,000 masks in 2020 before I burned out the machine. I am impressed with the quality and the number of sewing hours performance on this machine. She loves to sew and do crafts and this machine has so many functions that you can choose and many different stitches.
