Will update after trying the machine out now that missing pieces have been found. FYI if you cannot find the small white envelope and all the embroidery pieces it may be underneath all the packaging and machine taped to the foam piece at the bottom of the box. It also may be hard to see at a glance since it is the same color as the packaging. The envelop is tiny like the size of your palm so easy to miss. I replaced the blue tape but this was also less visible when originally packaged. ... show more

Love love this Brother sewing machine. I debated for a long time before I finally decided to purchase it. I'm so glad I did. I will learn how to use the embroidery feature after I finish the quilt throw I'm working on. For now I'm learning what all the buttons are for and how to use them. This machine is top notch for someone very new to embroidery. It has all the bells and whistles to get started. My sewing machine went out and I ordered this as a replacement and holy moly. It is definitely more advanced than I am as my old machine was very basic for sewing. Lots to learn, lots to read in the manual but it’s impressive for what it is for sure. Worth buying the entire package deal. Only thing I would recommend is it does not come with embroidery backing stabilizer. Have spent two days trying to learn what everything does. I know once I learn it and get the hang of it, I will love it. I also found there are lots of YouTube videos to assist with my issues I’ve had so far. So far, I love this machine. It’s easy to operate, came with all the thread and accessories pictured. It’s great that additional hoops of varying sizes were included. I highly recommend, especially for those just getting into simple embroidery.

How about this for my wife because she is an experienced embroiderer on larger machines but we didn't have room for the commercial machine. So far the ease of use value for the money appearance and quality are exceptional and it might even be suitable for beginners. She has been embroidering clothing for our grandson who assumes that everything he owns now comes that way. ... show more
