We've been using this machine in our shop for a little over two months, and it has yet to have any issues. The Swiss motor absolutely does not disappoint, and holy cow, it is quiet. The Staves pen has no problem pulling a line, packing color, or getting a good gradience on black and greys. I haven't run it until the battery has completely died, but it has lasted for six hour sessions without losing power/intensity. I do prefer the Bronc Max machine over the Staves, but if you can't afford the price increase, this is still a very good little machine. It's easy to keep sanitary by wrapping the machine with a barrier film, and the buttons on top still function as they should through the film. The handle grip could use a little modification (perhaps make it more shapely for the hand), but then again, I have small hands :) The weight isn't too bad, and the machine feels fairly balanced when holding it for a tattoo. It does have more weight than a traditional pen style machine that requires a power supply, but the slight amount of weight is worth the tradeoff for not being tethered.

This pen worked incredibly for me, but exactly one year later it started having problems. The needle cartridge stopped moving to change the needle depth, so when I took it apart the cam fell out when it’s not supposed to. No possible way to fix it.

This BRONC Wireless Tattoo machine is absolutely perfect!! words cannot describe my happiness and complete satisfaction with this tattoo pen! this machine is absolutely awesome, it’s lightweight feels premium and holds a great charge! it is compatible with any standard cartridge! This is a very sturdy and well-made machine! It is compacted well and it is very convenient to us!! this is very powerful and does a great job! This is really interesting!! this is one of those rare items that are actually worth every single penny that they charge for it! I love how you can write literally anything and how it glides with it in your hand! It has a gorgeous digital display too! Overall I am very satisfied and impressed!!!

This is a great machine. I use it as my daily driver and honestly I use it for pretty much everything, Except big bold lines that I have a hummingbird direct drive for. But it seriously does everything else As long as you’re not trying to push super big cartridges. I would definitely recommend this machine the battery lasts all day and the machine hits in a really unique way. A lot like a coil, but With the consistency of a rotary machine. It’s also we did really well balanced. It's not top-heavy and doesn’t vibrate. It's been almost years since I bought this machine and it's still a good choice. It's a strong little guy and it still looks sexy. The people who are giving it poor reviews aren't professional tattooers, you can buy with confidence.

I’m generally not a huge fan of the more traditional sized tattoo machines such as this BRONC Staves Wireless Tattoo Machine. I’m a female and have always preferred ones that are slightly slimmer in circumference since they always felt more comfortable in my hands. When I first pulled this out of the box I immediately thought that I wouldn’t like it because of this. However after using this multiple times over the last few weeks I’m actually quite impressed! This gives you so much control over your lines that it’s crazy! Plus the vibrations are very mellow and I don’t feel like I’m fighting with it to go where I want it to. I actually feel like I hav snore control with this than I do with my previous favorite machine that is thinner and more expensive. The overall quality is great, it not only feels solid but also looks well made. They definitely used good quality materials and you can tell. Overall would definitely recommend this!

I’ve reviewed countless tattoo pen’s and this is our second from Bronc. No case like many competitors and at this price that’s a must, in my opinion. Yet this expensive rocketship oozes professionalism. Powerful yet quiet with an impressive and relatively high capacity 1,800mAh battery. Unfortunately, at the time of this review it is NOT covered by Amazon’s 30 day free return policy if not for you. The first Bronc we ordered was. This model costs far more than most lithium powered pens. At $318, I believe it should come with a storage case befitting this exquisitely crafted tool.

The Bronc Staves performs incredibly well for what it is. It's super lightweight and comfortable to use, it looks fantastic - and all the lining and shading work I've done with it come out super clean and rarely require touchups or extra passes. If you've only been using a wired tattoo pen so far, the wireless nature of the Staves will really transform your tattooing experience. Compared to Bronc V1/V2 it doesn't seem to be a tremendous upgrade, but it is definitely more lightweight, and that makes it much more comfortable to use for long sessions. It also seems to perform a bit cleaner in regards to lines and shading. Issues: Not a big issue at all, but the touchscreen display can be a bit finicky, and it didn't always work for me when wearing nitrile gloves. Thoughts: This is really an excellent tattoo pen, ideal for studio work or just a serious home-tattoo artist. It performs great for lines and shading - very clean, they really never require multiple passes. It's so lightweight your hand won't get tired even after hours long pieces. If you're looking for a high-performing wireless tattoo pen, this is a great choice.
