Really great quality knife feels very heavy duty in your hand and the blade comes extremely sharp. The stamped look is very unique. Perfectly weighted for easily functionally. Definitely recommend for a go to knife option

This is a great knife! The Damascus blade has a beautiful pattern like water droplets that are recessed slightly so whatever you are slicing does not cling to the amazingly sharp blade. The balance is good and the solid handle has a lovely inlay. The only drawback is that the weight is slightly heavy to be secure on the magnetic knife rack I use for Henckels/Wustoff knives. I park it in the space between the magnetic bar and the wall.

This is a gorgeous, fantastic knife. Just a delight to use. I have a half dozen good chef's knives, to suit my needs and moods, but this one quickly became my favorite. I was looking for an affordable Japanese knife, and I have been impressed with my other, stone-washed, Brodark knife, so I went for this one. Sharpness, balance, comfort, beauty - It's all here. And, the price is right. My only caveat: It's heavier than most other chef's knives, so might become tiring for some people. ( I'm a big guy, so it works for me.) Don't fall for budget "Damascus" knives on Amazon. I have one, and I'm sure that it is a fraud. It works well enough for the price, but it isn't nearly as enjoyable as this one.

This knife is surprisingly sharp. Well packaged and very pretty. Has a good feel in the hand. Maybe slightly heavy versus most Japanese knives that size. It performs almost as well as my far more expensive Japanese Shun knives. These knives are from China, btw, in a Japanese style (thus the lower price). It should not be called Damascus, since it is not. It's simply made to look like Damascus steel (real Damascus is folded over many times when it is forged). I didn't take a star off of it for that though, since it seems really common to be mis-stating that, even among more premium brands.

This is a decent knife for the price and it's a good looking one as well. The blade came Sharp as well. I sharpen knives for a living, and after I put a beautiful edge on this knife to make it more attractive for sale, it looked so good that I decided to keep it for myself.
