    • The recirculation vented is on top not the front how's it going to vented back into the room

When you install it the recirculation vents are covered by the cabinet . I bought the charcoal filters for recirculation but the range hood doesn't suck hardly anything through them in my opinion it's just a waste of time and money

LOVE it! I'm so happy with it. I'm a senior and my son is early 20's and very inexperienced. He is brave so he wanted to try to change our old one out by himself having me support when I could. So he got the old one out. We even got the old metal tube that goes to your roof out (I just had metal roof put on and they suggest I don't put another hole in it.). Took us a while as my son even took out the wood in the middle of the cabinets above the range. We bought wood to close the hole to the attic. Then placed wood over the holes on the shelves and now I have extra cabinet room over my range. We did this in one day (having started at 12pm). The next day we did put in this new 30" one. He was able to do 95% by himself. I only held the flashlight and passed tools. I will say is was hard getting this new one into the space for it (very, very tight fitting). We did miss by a touch getting the clips into it but my son used more screws to fasten it in on the back the sides and top. While screwing in the some on the top, it was able to slightly close the space above it. We have no experience with electricity and we were able to hook it up easily. I did buy charcoal filters for it. Now it is in and working fantastically. I'm so happy with it. Matches my stove/range whatever you call it. Matches everything in my kitchen. This is definitely easy for someone to do without having to call and electrician or handyman. Oh and the light, WOW! They are bright white. We love it. ... show more
