I searched high and low for weeks for the perfect car seat. I finally went for this one after reading countless reviews and I’m very happy with it! My one year old used to cry in her other car seat but in this one she sleeps! The ease of installation is fantastic and I love that instead of having to adjust the straps as the baby grows, all you have to do is pull up and the seat itself heightens which is a fantastic feature. It’s comfortable, easy to clean, easy to recline, I really love it, very well made and I’m pleasantly surprised. I drive a Honda CRV and this fits great. I was so excited when this car seat came out! It fits my 2013 Ford Explorer in the middle seat, between two Diono car seats. It gives us lots of leg room up front even rear facing since it has a variety of rear angles. The middle buckle in my car is kind of a pain to get adjusted but overall super easy to install. ... show more

This car seat is fabulous. It adds so many features the others Britax seats lack (3 across, cup holders). The Clicktight feature is the reason we bought it because ease of install is critical for safety. We returned our other slim seat as it didn’t stay tight and needed constant adjustments which is a safety issue especially in the car we let our nanny use. My only “ask” is thry come out with an anti-rebound bar asap. The one from the old Clicktight seats isn’t compatible (I called to ask). This is an important safety feature and I hope hey make it a priority to release quickly. ... show more

Finally!!! Husband purchased a Ford Maverick (which we love) then discovered that rear facing car seats are nearly impossible in it, especially with 2 kids. This seat fits perfectly behind the driver (6’1), passenger (5’9) or in the center. Love the removable cup holders, easy clicktight installation, and safety features.     • A Huge Upgrade Over the First Kiddo's Carseat, much sturdier, far more versatile, and better padding

The first carseat we picked up for the first kiddo over a decade ago feels like a piece of cardboard compared to the construction of this Britax Poplar convertible carseat. Just getting it out of the box it was clear this thing was built to last compared to our previous one which we'd long since passed along to a cousin by the time kiddo #2 came along. And you know what? I'm glad we ditched the last one because I likely wouldn't have bothered to pick this one up instead. After getting a month of use in with this one, that other one looks like garbage. Not just in terms of materials used, as this one is absolutely made of stronger stuff, but also in terms of the little things like the ease of strap adjustment, the location and size of loops/holes in the structure for how it keeps the seat secured with the car's seatbelt, etc. It not only holds the carseat in its place more firmly, but getting it in and out of the car is considerably less of a headache compared to our last one. The one downside is that being made of better materials means it's a bit heavier than the last one so mom struggles a bit more when she has to move it solo, but even then she can still do it and manage it well enough. Usually though, if it's a situation that calls for removing or installing the seat from one car to another that falls on my shoulders. And the installation and removal process has definitely been streamlined and made fairly easy compared to carseats of past generations, but it's still probably the biggest hassle to be had. ***Overall Value*** We're SUPER happy with this carseat, it's a huge upgrade over the one we had 10 years ago and we keep remarking on that everytime we find a little feature or flourish in the stitching/design/etc. that we're noticing for the first time and realizing that it just saved us 10-15 seconds (or minutes) of head-scratching/wall head-banging trying to make it work with our car compared to its predecessor. Yes, we first first-time parents with that last seat, but that doesn't change the fact that Britax has improved upon the design considerably and delivered a carseat that the kiddo doesn't complain about being pinched by and which doesn't cause us headaches on a daily basis. ... show more

    • Nice but have concerns

I got this for grandmas truck because we needed narrow. While the seat itself is good and installing is fairly simple, my grandchild who is about 21 lbs the seat straps seem so wide- like almost falling off her shoulders we need to pull them inward toward her neck while tightning or her shoulder slips out completely!?. The chest clips are at the appropriate armpit level. And the straps are at the level below her shoulder as directions state. We may need to try the padding on straps but instructions say to use after 22 lbs- which I would think you need the padded straps before 22 lbs? We’ve also had some leg pinching in the groin when tightening straps and this is winter with pants on. The groin buckle is positioned in the appropriate spot per the directions. Maybe it’s just me but it’s the quirky problems like this that bug me because I shouldn’t have to worry about a strap not on her shoulder.Otherwise I feel like this is a safe easy to use seat with generous padding. I do need to buy the rebound bar if it comes out ... show more
