Purchased two of these for my home last year at this time and today I am googling "top rated floor lamps," because one of them has stripped in 2 places. So as far as when first recieved the assemble of them was simple no problems, the funcual aspect of the light was just fine lit up very well, and the look the aesthetics went perfect with my home. This is why I am writing this review I have not decided yet on what to do if I am going to purchase another and roll the dice or go with a different product. It doesn’t look like the lamp in the picture on the website at all. The shade sits above the light. Very ugly. You see the supports of the lampshade. Never seen anything quite lke this before.

I was amazed at how cleverly this kit went together. It was surprisingly sturdy for so many pieces. Works well in the spot I put it. Design wise: The diameter of the shade seems a little big and the shade height needs to be a couple inches taller in my opinion.
