The XR-2206 is a monolithic function generatorintegrated circuit capable of producing high quality sine,square, triangle, ramp, and pulse waveforms ofhigh-stability and accuracy. The output waveforms can beboth amplitude and frequency modulated by an externalvoltage. Frequency of operation can be selectedexternally over a range of 0.01Hz to more than 1MHz. The circuit is ideally suited for communications,instrumentation,and function generator applicationsrequiring sinusoidal tone, Ithas a typical drift specification of 20ppm/°C. The oscillatorfrequency can be linearly swept over a 2000:1 frequencyrange with an external control voltage, while maintaininglow distortion. Package Including: 2pcsXR2206CP

    • Seems OK as far as I know.
The XR2206 was discontinued in January 2011. These are probably "replicas". I've given them a preliminary test and they turn over, so to speak, but I don't know enough to know if they are performing well, and I haven't tried modulation, which is where I hear many of these ICs fail to work. You would probably be better off going with a different chip then trying to find a legit one of these, but if you are willing to settle, these seem as good as any. ... show more
