It’s great! It’s loud and has get options. Lightweight, easy to carry. REM pod function is were I took a star off. It works but trying to balance it and turn it on is a pain. Then you have to keep holding it from the bottom and hitting the on off on the rem pod multiple times in order to get it to reset and stop just going off consistently because it was sensing your touch. Takes a good 8-10 on off presses for it to finally work properly. So that feature needs a rework. ... show more

The device is a good value for the features it offers, especially for someone looking for an entry-level spirit box. The price is fair, but the listing would benefit from clearer explanations of what the product actually includes. This unit does not function as an REM device, so buyers should be aware of that before purchasing. What the device does provide is still useful for basic paranormal investigating. It includes a spirit box function for scanning radio frequencies, a built-in temperature sensor that displays environmental changes, and a small integrated flashlight for low-light situations. These features work as expected with exception to the temperature sensor. I did some testing and unfortunately the device will track the screen's temperature instead of the room temperature. However, if there are temperature changes, this will be reflected with the feature. The labeling on the packaging was a bit confusing, as an additional sticker was placed over the original text.
