- NICKEL-PLATED MULTIMETER PROBES: Nickel-plated copper multimeter probes provide firm contact and a stable measurement response. Secure test probes and plugs help maintain consistent contact during voltage, resistance and continuity checks. Keep the probe tips clean and dry during storage to reduce oxidation.
- CAT II 1000V AND 10A METER LEADS: These multimeter and voltmeter leads are rated CAT II 1000V and up to 10A for general measurements. The included 2 mm alligator clips are rated up to 10A. When connected to a 20A probe, the setup must not exceed the lowest-rated component: 10A while the clips are attached.
- MULTIMETER REPLACEMENT LEADS: Made by a manufacturer with more than 10 years of experience in multimeter accessories, these DMM test leads are intended for compatible digital multimeters with matching connectors and ratings. While the probes themselves are good the alligator clip attachment are crimped metal and come off and have no real continuity with the probes. but for the money not bad you just cant use all the attachments.

I have purchased 2 sets of these, a set for me and a friend. They are great for a novice and casual use. They have performed great for every task I have needed them for. There has always been an attachment in the kit for the job I need. The reading are just as accurate as our expensive meter equipment and there have been no issues connectivity. I don't know if I would have bought these for everyday use or a harsh work environment because that's not what they were made for but I have definitely gotten my money out of mine. Everything comes in one little box and would fit in a small to mid side bag or pouch with no issues for storage and carrying around. Definitely a good value for the money.

I think I went with this set because it had the most reviews and was at 4.5 stars. Hard to gauge Amazon reviews these days with bots (and people bots) as far as rating and reviews. Everything seem to work. Felt "normal" as far as quality. Had an issue with my Alligator clips. How could this of happened? Nothing else seemed to have been traumatized in the package. So hopefully something else will not break down the line. The female banana sockets in both clips were nearly flat. I was able to send a message to the seller through Amazon. We will see how they respond. *Upd 06/01/20* Never heard back from company\seller. Did an exchange thru Amazon. New set alligator clips were flat as well??!!! Sigh. Not sure what to do now. Guess look at another set. *Upd 06/04/20* So looking at other reviews, apparently the alligator connectors are supposed to flattened so you can attach them to the needle tips. That is such a bad way to re-purpose a connector and something you do when on the spot, not something I expect from something that was made to be used. Lame. So overall for the money they seem good for basic testing. Wish there was a way to safely verify these rating we see on these lead kits. Oh and for you Simpson 260 owners. These will not work. They will if you get the FtoF banana adapters I found on Amazon. I did my best to align those adapter ratings with this set.
